Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Waco (McLennan County) Texas and I serve as overseer of the Gerald Cemetery. I maintain the records for the cemetery in conjunction with the President.

I receive permission to use published obits. I also enjoy photographing cemeteries, and researching obits in the newspaper.

I do not research my family genealogy, but am using this opportunity to help others by contributing to FAG.
NOTE: West Station was the name used years ago for West TX located in McLennan County.

Mottos: Living is Giving!

Favorite Headstone: GOD LOVED HER MORE!

Saying: Never leave home without a camera.

I want to say a big thank you to fellow contributors that send in family links, b/d info, photos and any other information. The more information that we provide will greatly assist family members.

Thanks for the death certificate info I have posted it to my Grandmother's memorial. Sadly the names William and Mary Dixon are so common as to be fairly useless in locating them on find a grave even given that it is known to be a Georgia family. I appreciate your efforts.

Obid Monroe Smith
Slick, thanks for letting me know about Andrew Jackson Smith's death certificate. I found the original on familysearch.

I'm looking for any and all tidbits about Obid M. Smith, his son the inventor. Obid made a compressed air car and toured several states with it, driving 9000 miles. He said his car climbed Pikes Peak like it was flat. Later on when he lived in Miami, he was a client of actress Gloria Swanson who had an inventor's helper business.

The family lived in Moody, TX around 1900.
