Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am retired so I have a lot of time on my hands. My research includes several names. Casey Bryant Viles Wilson Boyett Snook and a few others.

I love just walking through old cemeteries looking at all the different headstones, some very big and elegant and some so small and simple yet all tell the story of that person.

I will be happy to transfer to a relative if it is within the Find A Grave guidelines, otherwise it will be at my discretion. Please state your relationship of the memorial you want transferred. Just saying they are family is not acceptable. I WILL NOT transfer entire families because you want a whole family in a certain cemetery. Direct family members would be within four generations such as great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, or siblings. Please send request for transfer through the correction tab it makes it easier to locate the memorial.

I will also make corrections to memorials of others as well, just send the information to me on the corrections form.

My photographs may be copied and used only if credit is given to me as the original photographer.

Lynn H Ray
Hello, I am a niece of Lynn Ray. Do you or anyone you know have any information about him. All his siblings and parents have passed away now. I received many of the old family relics last year. Among letters was a reply to Lynn's father, Joe who had asked her if she knew where Lynn was. She replied that he had come to see her a couple of time in a few years but said he would not be back and never did. He would write to her from time to time but she would write back immediately only to get her letter back that he had moved and they could not forward the letter. No one really knows why he chose not to be around his family. There was not any hostility or animosity among any of them. His mother died of dementia in June 1958 and his father in June 1960 at the home of Lynn's sister. Not sure how it was found out later that he was living in Kansas. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you. Karen

Samuel Wayne milligan
It appears that you entered Samuel Wayne's grandmother, Martha A. Dunn, as his mother. This makes Samuel Robert Adams Milligan appear as both father and sibling on the memorial.

Please change Samuel Wayne Milligan's mother to Ida Mae Montgomery Milligan. This would fix the problem.

Are you related to the Milligan's?

Emily Spanger
Well thanks to Marcia's help, it turns out I was wrong and Mrs. Emily (Spangler) Donahue did marry my husband's great-great grandfather, John Harrison on 29 Jun 1856 in Hancock County, Illinois, which I have now verified. They are enumerated together in the 1860 census in Bear Creek, Hancock Co, IL with 2 of his 3 sons from his 1st marriage, George & Edward (my husband's great-grandfather) plus they had 2 sons together, Thomas b-1857 & Douglas b-1858 and Emily's 2 children, Edward and Margaret Donahue from her 1st marriage (to Martin Donahue) were also enumerated with them. But if John Harrison's death date of 13 Mar 1861 was transcribed correctly, then he couldn't be the father of Rosa Bell Harrison, who was b-09 Mar 1863. So this mystery still hasn't been solved. On Rosa Bell (Harrison)Whiteley's Find A Grave memorial, it says her parents were James Harrison and Emily Spangler, yet she's linked to John Harrison's Find A Grave as her father.

RE: John Harrison
Thank you so much for removing the wrong people from my husband's Harrison family members. Just waiting now for Star Rhodes to remove the incorrect Rosa Bell Harrison Whiteley, who was not a daughter of John Harrison. So far Star has not responded to my messages, so fingers crossed that she sees them soon.
