Nancie's husband has given me permission to manage her memorials. If you have requested a transfer in the last several months, please send the request again. The email for her has been changed and will no longer go to Nancie's old email. All of her edits have been accepted and I will be transferring her memorials as requested. If you wish to send condolences to her family, you can do so on her memorial page. Any messages left on this page will be forwarded to the family.|
My first love is genealogy research (my husband says it is a sickness) however, anyone that does research will understand that "sickness" ! :)
My hubby has left for work in the morning - leaving me at my computer - in my pajamas and when he comes home at night - he finds me - still there - in my pajamas, unwashed face etc. ha ha But I have to say - he is very understanding about it. My second love is wandering around cemeteries, enjoying the quietness, listening to the birds, wondering about the people there; who they were, where they came from, what their life was like..etc. It helps me keep my sanity in this crazy world we live in now.

|jfj||RE: Miranda M. Griffin|
Re Miranda Griffin at Old Roswell Cemetery.
I am not a relative of Miranda Griffin. I am the chairperson for the Cemetery Project of Roswell Historical Society. We are in the process of updating all memorials at Old Roswell. If you would like to transfer management of Miranda Griffin's memorial to me, that is fine.
Sorry for your loss of your friend. It sounds like she was very dedicated. Her work will help so many others.

My mistake! Didn't know that Nancie had passed away and that you had taken over her page. I hope you get this message and my previous one.

I have tried to contact Pat M. who you transferred these grave to. Her email doesn't work anymore. You placed these people in Myrtle Hill Cemetery but they are actually located in Oak Hill Cemetery in Rome. There are pictures of their grave markers as well. I think the memorials in Myrtle Hill should be eliminated. Let me know if you agree. Thanks, Jenny
Wish I had known you while you were still here. Blessings!

Otis Ward Brooks buried in Georgia Memorial Park in Cobb County is the son of Harriet Landrum Brooks 58119505 and George Clifton Brooks 58119437 who are buried in Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery. Annie Stiles Brooks also in Georgia Memorial Park is his wife. Would you make the connections, please.
Miss Hattie was my aunt. I'd be happy for you to transfer Otis and Ann to me if you like.
Thanks, Marsha 47346441
