My virtual cemeteries list my ancestral lines, the numbers indicate which generation back from me. With only a few exceptions in each line, over 80% of my relatives are tied to Georgia since the late 1700s. Although I was born in Georgia, I've lived there less than 5 years total over my lifetime. Dad was in the Army, I was in the Navy, and I continued wandering after that; so far - 46 states & 20 countries.|
I'd love to hear from anyone researching the same lines. We may be "distant" cousins!
I use transcriptions and spreadsheets to enter some memorials. If you find an error, have more info to add, or would like a transfer please contact me via the "suggest a correction" feature. I am happy to transfer any memorial I'm not related to or even those I am related to if they are closer to you than to me.
I've been into photography ever since taking pictures for my high school year book. In addition to posting plenty of pictures related to my family, I'll try to fill as many photo requests as I can.
PHOTO COPYRIGHT – I hereby grant permission for download of my pictures for PERSONAL USE only (i.e if you find a picture I posted that is related to your family tree, you can download it and use it). This includes uploading it to YOUR tree on Ancestry.com, Rootsweb.com, or similar web site. If you could leave me a message saying that you downloaded it, I'd appreciate just knowing someone found one useful.
Any commercial use will still require specific, individual permission from me (i.e. publishing it on a web page other than in YOUR family tree, publishing it in a book, or anywhere else people outside of your family will use it or pay for it).

Walley - just wanted to thank you for adding the other obit to William Henry Marchman #61675182, memorial. I was able to link his wife Clara to him, all thanks to your research. Obits are such a wonderful addition to the memorials.
Keep up the good work!

On your personal findagrave home page there is an edit tab at the top of the page. If you click that tab you can choose to accept or reject any corrections all at one time which makes it easier. This was new to me a couple of months ago. It might be new or I just didn't see it. Unfortunately you do not get any email notice that corrections are there other than a number showing up next to the edit on the tab. You just have to know to check it every now and then.

Wally, I believe the correct first name on this stone (Jas. B. Jacobs) is James B. Jacobs and not Jason B. Jacobs. I can see where you might think it could be Jason, but it is really James B. and he is the son of John D. Jacobs 1813-1865 also buried in New Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery. His mother was Jane Harris Jacobs but I have not been able to find her buried in this cemetery. I base these corrections on the fact that I am doing research for my brother-in-law on the Jacobs line. Also in the 1900 census you will find:
1900 United States Federal Census about James B Jacobs
Name: James B Jacobs
Birth Date: Dec 1840
Home in 1900: Utica, Clark, Indiana
Relation to Head of House: Head
Marital Status: Married
Spouse's Name: Geneva Jacobs
Marriage Year: 1878
Years Married: 22
Father's Birthplace: Indiana
Mother's Birthplace: Indiana
Occupation: Brick Layer
Neighbors: View others on page
James B Jacobs 59
Geneva Jacobs 40
Emmery D Jacobs 21 Carpenter
Frank J Jacobs 16 Express Messenger
Earl H Jacobs 11 in School

Thank you for all the lovely work you have done for Find A Grave.
Sincerely, Lois Ams

|Christina||RE: Pearl Brown Howell|
Thanks for the offer! Pearl is indirect relation. But I may have more information on the Howells in my files, I will send later. I like to see families connected. If I run on to any that I am related to I will request transfers. Thank you ~ Christmas Blessings ~ Christina

OMG, this makes the 2nd request I have had today in less than two hours! Thanks for the connections! Christmas Blessing ~ Christina

Thanks, Wally, I have deleted the duplicate.
|Patti Bray||William Donald Bray|
My father was William Donald Bray. He was not buried at Zion Methodist Church in Prosperity, SC. His marker is at Eastview Cemetery in Monroe Ga, by his mother and father. He was cremated and wanted to be put in #13 pond at Mid Carolina Country Club. Try to play that hole if he didn't like ya!
|Terry Echols||RE: Eada M. "Edy" Echols Bray|
Well I figured out who she is but there is an unanswered question about her maiden name. She first married Seaborn Fleming ECHOLS:
Marriage to Eada Margaret (ECHOLS/UNKNOWN)? on 1 Aug 1850 in Taliaferro County, Georgia, USA
Groom Listed as: ECKLES, Seborn F; Bride Listed as: ECKLES, Edy.
Then she married Ezekiel BRAY, can't find a record for them.
Was Seaborn and Eada cousins? Was she born an Echols? Who are her parents?
|Terry Echols||RE: Cicero Davis|
Thanks for the transfer. I don't have the name "Eada M. "Edy" Echols Bray". Can you tell me where she fits into things so I can add her to my tree. Was she born Echols and married a Bray or is she a Bray by birth? Who were her parents/spouse?
|Pat Gillespie||RE: James Monroe Kesler parents|
I'm sorry, Wally, thanks for bringing that to my attention. I have too many Kesler names written on my pages, I picked up the wrong memorial #.
