I am a recently retired school teacher. I've been doing genealogy for the past 30 years. I recently joined the Find a Grave website.

I have completed photographing and uploading all the stones from the Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, Illinois. I still have about 10 pictures of very old faded stones that I will use the burial index to identify, but that project will wait until spring. If you wish any of the entries transfered to you, please email me.

The Griswold Cemetery south of Plano has now been completed. There are a number of unreadable stones in the cemetery. I have tried to identify them using an early reading of the cemetery, so that is why some stones may be hard to read.

Fowler Grove Cemetery north of Plano has been completed.

Elmwood Cemetery is Yorkville is totally uploaded, thanks to some assistance with some of the stones.

Working on Pratt's Oak Law and Oak Ridge in Sandwich. Pratt's has a great many partially buried stones and who knows how many totally buried.

RE: Francis T. Miller
I am quite certain, at least in my own mind that this is father and son...........

Francis T. Miller
Since you posted the picture of the tombstone on this grave I will start with you. I have reason to believe that this man was the second husband of my great-great grandmother. The Francis T. Miller I am interested in has his father buried in this same cemetery. I notice that it says on stone died....but the date is covered up. If you live within a reasonable distance and should go to that cemetery again could you please attempt to tell me the death year, then I would know for certain if this is the Francis T. Miller I am in search of. Thank you for any help in this matter.

I believe that you have listed Esther's Mother-in-law as her spouse. I understand how things can get confused. Thanks, Cissy Flew Nichols

RE: Edits in Oak Ridge
Hi Anne,
I decided to see if I could add more information to the Oak Ridge Cemetery book I keep up-to-date and have gone through all of the Oak Ridge find a graves. I have added a lot of information to my records and wish I would have started from the beginning to suggest edits, as there are quite a number of them.
I also have quite a few names that are not in the find a grave lists. I see you have been adding more as I have been working on them.
Sometime maybe I can go back and suggest more edits, as I only suggest them if the obit says different or the gravestone says different.
I need to take a break from it until after the Sandwich Fair. Have things to do for that now.

#135312101 Anne do you know if his wife Norma Jean was buried with him? I'd like a new picture of the grave to show this if true. He was my uncle on my father's side.

We have always wondered what happen to Norma Jean.

June Armstrong
First thank you so much for all of your efforts. I have taken over my mom's part of the ancestry tree. June was a beloved Aunt that she was never able to locate.
June had 17 siblings and i'm trying to put them all together . Would it be possible to transfer my Aunt in to my care. If you are ever in the Bloomington Illinois, please call. I think I would love to take pictures myself.

RE: Memorial Photo
Yes I would like access to that page as there are others ancestor families buried there and an OBIT to ID children is helpful for a family tree. Thanks
