I am a stay at home wife and mother of three. Genealogy has been my hobby for over 20 years. I have been transcribing cemeteries for 10 years. Many kind people helped me out when I started my journey through the family branches and I hope that my cemetery work can help others in their journey. |
Tombstone photos that I have posted can be used for your personal use. They are copyrighted, so if you post them on the internet or anything else published for viewing by others, please include credit for the photo.
Please do not post copies of birth, death or marriage records on my memorials. These records can be easily researched and take up space that could be used for actual photographs.

Thanks for the info. I cant wait to go look around the Elfritz Cemetery. My ancestors are the Cantwells and Shrivers that are buried there.
I see that you just recently visited the Elfritz Cemetery near Cairo, WV. I will be in the state in a couple of weeks but don't know the area. Could you tell me if the cemetery is easily accessible from the road? Can I drive up to the cemetery or do I have to hike up to it? Thanks

Teresa: you did a wonderful job photographing the Gard Cemetery....thank you so much for doing it.
Such an old cemetery, it really needed a photographic record completed before all the stones fall into disrepair!!
Your work is much appreciated!

Thank you so much for the headstone photo. Although the stone is in terrible shape I am able to read it thanks to the high quality of your photo work. Keep up the good work.
