Genealogy has been my hobby for over 20 years. I have been transcribing cemeteries for 10 years. Many kind people helped me out when I started my journey through the family branches and I hope that my cemetery work can help others in their journey.
Tombstone photos that I have posted can be used for your personal use. They are copyrighted, so if you post them on the internet or anything else published for viewing by others, please include credit for the photo.
DO NOT post copies of documents such as death, birth and marriage records on the memorials. These records can be easily found online and take up limited space in the photo allotment. Just because a memorial does not yet have a photo does not mean that you can fill up the spaces with documents that can be found elsewhere. I have came across many memorials that I could not upload tombstone photos because the slots were all filled with documents. If I find documents on memorials that I manage, you will be kindly asked to remove them. If you refuse, then the administration will be contacted to remove them for you. Find a Grave should not be used for your personal document storage. There are numerous family tree software programs that you can get to do this for you. Many of them can be downloaded at no charge from the internet.
DO NOT post photos of newspaper obits and articles. If you have obits or articles please type them up and send them through the edit option and I will be happy to include them in the bio section. Please include the name and date of publication of the newspaper.
RE: Onia Richards At this time there are no other photos on this memorial. There is not even a photo of the gravestone. For the time being I would like to leave the DC copy there as I am still doing research to try to find her Mother's maiden name and place of burial. I am also still trying to find some proof of her exact DOB. If and when I locate this information then I will be more than happy to remove the copy of the COD. I hope this arrangement will agree with you. Rose
127958892 Alexander Cather Teresa, Would you be willing to transfer Alexander Goff Cather, my Grandson, over to me. It would complete my family info. He would be with his Mother and Great Grandparents.
Michael L. Foster Hi, hope all is well. If you don't mind I would like to have a copy of the photo you took for Michael L. foster from Sunset Memorial Gardens. He is my Great Uncle, unfortunately his father passed a few years ago and was buried in Baltimore Arlington National Cemetery (which is also where Mike's baby sister and step-mother are also.---Not sure on where Mike's bio-mother is as I never met her personally, however; I would find it fitting to put Uncle Mike's photo with the rest of the family as he was active duty as like his father (my grandfather) as indicated on mike's tomb and thereafter mike's passing, the family moved from WV to Baltimore--coincidence. What I'm asking is mere technologically and not literally speaking of course but I found it awkward that he is the only one over there while the rest of us are here.... spiritually and mortality.
