I could not find Arthur Rowe headstone, but did find a Thomas Arthur Rowe. And did take a picture if you would like it.
|M.L. Devall||RE: William H. Smith (Memorial #87050759)|
OK, thanks. :0) His obit says he was born in July 1823, but his sister Mary Ann was born in June 1823. His birthdate should actually be in July 1824. I will send the obit shortly.
|M.L. Devall||William H. Smith (Memorial #87050759)|
The name and dates for William H. Smith are incorrect on the headstone. I have a copy of his obituary from the Elkhart Truth in 1916. John LaSalle Smith was his son and Hattie Lucellia (Countryman) Smith was his daughter-in-law. William was originally interred at the Grace Lawn Cemetery vault. He was moved to the Prairie Street Cemetery a few years later.
Actually, this memorial is a duplication of #83786915 and should also be deleted. If it were me, I guess I would delete both and begin again with the correct family. :) Good luck.
I checked and Dorothy is very much alive. It was quite a shock to see the memorial and then to find an Indiana death record with her name and almost the same birthdate.
It is now obvious there is another Dorothy that has earned the memorial you gave to this Dorothy. If you will correct and move #89243357 to the other person, it will be deeply appreciated. The information on Gilbert seems to be okay; but #89243357 is not his wife. :) Thanks for your work.
Thank you very much for being so kind in transferring his memorial.
