Welcome to my family memorials. |
My husband & I were born and raised in the Springfield Ohio area. We became interested in our family genealogy and have been in the field researching for many years now, following trails that took us over hill and vale....literally. I walk through the beautiful cemeteries and my eyes see all the names in stone....yet my heart sees each one as a real flesh and blood person of the past with a story to tell. I want to be sure my family's story is told.
Find a Grave is a great way to honor our ancestors who so bravely paved the way before us. They cannot be forgotten...what they battled, conquered, and yes, some even perished in the fight to better our world and give to us the gift of a better life. The family history my husband and I have learned along the way has been very inspiring and encourages us to be wholesome and leave a positive legacy of our own Faith which enables us to conquer so many battles as we fulfill our dreams and find our own life purpose.

Carolyn - I had a duplicate memorial for Oba Folden, Neal Cemetery @ Mudsoc. I transferred the memorial to you. You can decide which one to keep or discard.
|Debra Smith Smith||Lucille Verda Bobst Poland|
I submitted an edit adding Carl William Poland as Lucille's spouse. You probably already know that they were divorced. Just a heads up not to add that edit.
Would love to make contact with you. I, too, am a 4th great granddaughter of Philip Jacob Bobst (Philip Christian Bobst > Philip Peter Bobst > Margaret Anna Bobst Vogel > Gorath Henry Vogel > Shirley Louise Vogel Smith > me.)
|Peggy Bargen Duey||Barbara Weber Bair|
I have never been to this cemetery, but the Bair/Bear/Baer family are relatives of my husbands. We flew back to Cumberland County in July for 15 days but didn't get to all of the cemeteries and finish all my research that I was wanting to get done. Hopefully when we fly back in 2 years more mysteries will be solved. You might want to request a photo for her memorial. Happy Hunting!!!
Roger & Carolyn, Transfers of Daniel and Barbara Bair are complete. So happy to put them into your care as family members. Thanks for asking!! Hugs, Bonnie

I have no idea. I cannot find him either. I have looked on family search and ancestry web sites. By the way I have noticed that ancestry site has changed.

Thank you for your information about the Birth Date.

You are very welcome. I am glad that I could find the photo and place it on Virginia's memorial.

Carolyn, please let me know if you are in the Saluda area. firstname.lastname@example.org
Finding some duplicate cemetery work in Saluda and could use some expert eyes (on the computer, not in the field). Please let me hear back from you.Susan
|Bobingv||Nancy Baker Arnott|
I noted your posting on Find-A-Grave for Nancy Baker Arnott's Obituary. I continue to be intrigued as to the burial location of Henry Arnot(t), Jr. of Monroe County (her second husband). His father and many of his relatives are buried in the Mt. Hedding Cemetery in Monroe County, WV, including, Nancy Raines Baker Arnot(t). I again visited this Cemetery this May but have not been able to determine his burial location. Any information you might share about Henry Arnot, Jr. would be much appreciated. He is my ggggrandfather.
