Hey Joe! No, I was just Fagging his son Harry and wanted to link him to his dad Jesse - and that's how I discovered the dupe. So I hope you guys can work this out. Both memorials have neat stuff so a "merge" would be most appropriate here, I believe. Again, here is Harry's death certificate. Did the outfit you are researching come from Wyoming County, Pennsylvania? Just curious. Thanks, Tom
I added dozens of memorials and photos for all existing headstones to Center Union, but alas no headstone for Jacob H. could be found. There was a pile of old, small headstones around one of the cedar trees, it may be in that pile. But it was far too frigid to try to lift and look at them this weekend.
I added several GAR soldiers and was sucessful in looking up their regts. If you want the names, just ask.

Later tonight you might want to take a look at what I'm adding for his wife and at least one child in Center Union cemetery. You have him as Haines, perhaps because of war documents, but his wife's & son Walter headstones have "Hain".
I'm also adding a Billows pic (GAR)as soon as Dennis B. moves it from the other listing for this same cemetery.

Always happy to do my part. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

You're welcome! Anytime Joe.
What a generous spirit you have. Thanks for taking the time to make his memorial and the transfer.

Well....maybe not. I checked Hall's "Burial Records of Union Servicemen". It says A.J. Smith is buried "Smith Graveyard - Clover Creek". Problem is - both Smith cemeteries lie near Clover Creek (the waterway). If it is referring to the hamlet of Clover Creek, however, then it is the one in N. Woodbury Twp, which is the one you already have him in. (I am waiting for the cemetery fix thread to re-designate that one, as it still reads Williamsburg, but is two counties away). Anyway, for now, I think you can leave Andrew where he is. Maybe put a note in the bio about Hall and Clover Creek.

I have added the Woodbury Township Smith cemetery, using the Andrew Smith memorial that my contact sent to me. It obviously not the Andrew you are looking for, as the man is really too old to be a Civil War vet; also, both of those Pa. Burial Cards say the grave of the CW Andrew is unmarked. I have one more source to check - will let you know what I find.
It would be helpful if I could identify the CW fellow on the 1860 census, but I cannot pinpoint which Andrew he is, if any.
Here is the Woodbury one:

I am in contact with my 'cemetery guru' in Blair County and am trying to track down your Andrew Smith. The cemetery you had listed I believed to be the one in North Woodbury and I got it mapped and added the known burials. However, I found out there is indeed another one closer to Williamsburg. I am awaiting GPS info from my contact, at which point I will be adding that cemetery. I think your Andrew belongs in that one, but am trying to get more info. I will keep you posted.
