|Research includes some Central NJ, but primarily Ohio counties. Most of my and my wife's family are from Scioto County Ohio, just over the border in KY, Toledo, Defiance, Napoleon, and other areas of Ohio. These are the cemeteries I visit most often. I am currently working on a project to photograph all of Greenlawn Cemetery in Portsmouth Ohio. We have completed (as of 7/1/14) photographing the entire cemetery (minus the mausoleum which is never open when we are there). We hope to have the photos all named and posted by the end of February 2016.|
We also photographed all of the visible stones in Frienship Cemetery in Nile Ohio. We will post those as well after Greenlawn is done.
Also am photographing Glenwood Cemetery in Napoleon Ohio. Have the far right section from the road completed. Much remaining.
If you have edits to a memorial please use the new edit functionality (it is very efficient).
I am glad to transfer ownership of any of the memorials I photograph outside of my direct family. This is often easier than asking me to do many updates. Since I am photographing entire cemeteries I do not have time to update all the information findagrave allows for at this time. In order to submit such a large body of photos, I only input the death date to the upload spreadsheet to keep records straight.
Anyone is free to use any of my gravestone photos for personal use whenever they want. Please simply don't use them "for profit".
Good luck in your search, and hopefully I have posted something you find useful.

If you are not related to William and his wife Elizabeth Earles Brammer I would love to take over the memorials. She is my 2nd great Aunt.

Hello. My name is Bernard L. Cooper II. Leslie Cooper was my older my sister and you have her death year listed as 1965. She was actually stillborn, therefore her death year should be 1955. Please correct this. Thank you.

I would like permission to use the above photograph of the Margaret W Taylor marker (located in Greenlawn Cemetery, Portsmouth, OH), in my personal genealogy program. If I ever publish you will receive photographic credit.
Thank you for taking the picture!

What a tremendous job you are doing, thanks. I just sent several edits to link my distant Blomeyer relatives to parents and to add dates and other info I had sources for.
Thanks again for all you are doing. Lily

I was wondering if you had photographed Francis Lee Hard's headstone Find A Grave Memorial# 138376008. He is next to his wife Lucy W. Hard. I just also put in a request for the photo on his memorial page. THANKS so much for photographing all the headstones. :)

Hello Derek and Kristina,
My name is Katrina Wenger and Lee Gilkerson is my grandfather. I would like to thank you for all your hard work photographing headstones and setting up memorials on Find A Grave. It is much appreciated by so many people.
I will add more info and photos of Lee. I also have other family members buried in Friendship and several other cemeteries in Scioto and Adams Counties.
If you don't mind, I would like to ask you to transfer ownership of his memorial to me.

|Ancespiration||RE: Newman Redman - Greenlawn Cemetery; Portsmouth, Scioto, OH|
Oh, that's wonderful news! Thank you for your dedication and generosity. An Ancestry leaf hint led me to this cemetery, and your post I referenced. As Portsmouth was the location of my earliest known ancestors in the state of Ohio, I am excited to view all the names and images for Greenlawn.
You have my sincerest thanks!
