An amateur genealogist for 50+ years. Interested in helping others if they wish to have cemetery photos from my local area of Palm Harbor FL-34683. Will do cemetery search in zip 34698 in Dunedin Florida also, and Clearwater, Florida. If you see my name on a memorial that is your family, please feel free to contact me through the Suggest a Correction section if you want a memorial transferred to you or if you want me to make additions/corrections. I sometimes just photograph graves when I am at the cemetery photographing a particular site, and I work on the Suncoast Genealogy Society cemetery documentation projects. I have no reason not to transfer them to you if they are not my relatives. |
Copied from another Graver-but my sentiments also: Feel free to use any of my photos in any way that you wish, especially the older ones. My only purpose in posting them is to share them with those who want them and to help preserve them for posterity, just as many of these were gifts which others (long dead, for the most) once shared so generously with me. History is not for hoarding or profit but for preserving and passing on.
All of my memorials are works in progress, so I'm continually tinkering with them, researching, editing or expanding them. Additions, comments, corrections, criticisms and suggestions are always welcome and considered.

Let's leave the info as you have it as that is what is on the marker. I do believe these two different persons as the one I am looking at was born 1947, parents married 1945. I will look farther as I believe the one I am looking for was more than likely buried in TN, probably Willow Mount Cemetery in Bedford Co., but so far no record has been found.
Marianne, it was wonderful meeting a fellow graver! I look forward to seeing you soon, especially in the DNA club.

Marianne, Thanks for processing the link to Mildred's family
|Donna Cherwinski||RE: James Cherwinski Sr.|
I was not aware there are two memorials for the same person. My question was about Anthony Cherwinski, my husbands brother who was cremated and had his ashes scattered on the Black Course on Long Island, NY. He is not in Palm Harbor, but my husband James Cherwinski Sr and my son James Cherwinski are next to each other. My deepest regrets on the loss of your son, also born in 1963. There is no pain that compares. Thank you for the work you do.

Thanks for adding the biographical info.
I'm not related but looking through the old books on pioneer families in the midwest - I thought the brief write ups would be nice for their memorials.

Thank you so very much for getting a photo of their head stone for me. As you were able to see it was very high up and hard to see. This was my Grandfather. I appreciate it so very much.

Hi, having just this date learning of the death of dear cousin, logging on to Find A Grave to add her online memorial, seeing that you and I both placed memorial page for her mother Winifred Rossil on the same day!
Not quite sure how to link my dear cousin to her mother.
Your Find A Grave submission: Winifred Rossil 147187367
My Find A Grave submission: Winifred Gertrude LeGrand Rossil 147168835
I placed Winifred with interments of Glenwood Cemetery in Shelby Co IL as that is a family plot; a stone was placed there for Winifred back in the 60's. I guess I just didn't think to look for someone else entering her where her cremains were placed in Curlew Hills.
Guidance or suggestions most appreciated.
Thank you for all you do for FindAGrave.

U received the email SAC. Thank you for the Suggestion about the duplicate memorial for Josiah Spaulding. The one created in 2000 is in the wrong Fairview cemetery. He is in Westford according to records and headstone there.
I will send in a request to admin to have them merged into the correct one. Thank you for finding this. Denise.
