If you are submitting corrections to any of the profiles that I have created, please allow time for me to get them updated. I am a father of several small children, and work a full-time job. Find-a-grave is not my only life. And with that said, there is no reason to send nasty messages or emails because I don't jump up and make changes to a profile the minute you request them. Please excercise patience and respect.|
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. This is the POLICY of Find A Grave.
Lately, I have received a lot of transfer requests from other contributors wanting to simply add someone to a memorial that we have already created. If you do not fall in the above listed Find A Grave guidelines for transfer, then please do not waste our time or yours requesting a transfer.

|Robert D. Flynn||Transfer Request|
First let me say that I truly appreciate your work in posting Find A Grave #59145955 for my mother, Cecile Frances (Hart)Flynn.
Having discovered Find A Grave and the great resource it provides, I have started documenting my own family as much as I can.
I would sincerely appreciate it if you would transfer ownership to me to make it easier to add information over time.
If you ever wish to reach me via email, please use firstname.lastname@example.org.
Again, I really appreciate the great Bio you posted for Mom.
Sincerely...Robert D. Flynn (#48530551)

Hi, John W. Pence and second wife Lavina took my great grandmother Lola Belle Bruce Brown and her brother John Bruce in when their parents George Bruce and wife Nancy Ann Redman passed away. Johns first wife Mary Redman is the connection. Was Mary and Nancy Redman sisters or cousins? Also, you said John was a prisoner. Was that in the Civil War? Any information you could provide would be helpful. I've been at a dead end for year with this branch of the family. Thanks you so much. Jenny Brown Schneider.

Dear JLM, I am searching for my great grandmother and think I have found her from your photo. There is a picture of Nellie E. Hill's tombstone, but the office has no record of her. Would you be able to tell where in the cemetery her grave is from the Memorial #? It is Memorial #15788724. Thank you for any help you can give me and thanks so much for the picture you entered of her grave. I appreciate your work. Sally

Some info in regards to an edit I sent to remove the linked wife: Perry was married to a different Edna Davis. His wife Edna actually died in 1928 (IL Death Index) in Alexander county IL. The daughter Juanita's page has an obit someone posted which mentions that her mother Edna died when she was very young and she was raised by her stepmother Ruby. As you can see, the Edna Davis linked at this time on his memorial didn't die until 1971. All of the relevant obituaries confirm Edna Davis Stover is not the mother of Juanita and never was married to Perry. In fact, she was married to Mr. Stover and having her own baby at the exact same time that Juanita was born. I did inform the other contributor, who I assume suggested this link, that she was not the correct Edna Davis. I do not know where their Edna Davis is buried. Anyway, just thought you might want some relevant details if you're getting dueling edits on this. ;)

Wondering why you created two memorials for the same individual - both created on the same day - perhaps you were interrupted and forgot you had already created it.
The memorials in question:
87407867 & 87408029
For Shannon Adams Stewart

I was just wondering if it would be possible to transfer the management of my husband's burial record here on Find A Grave to me.
I actually thought that I had created this memorial but I guess you did and I thank you so much for that. I just tried to change something and they told me that I had to ask you for permission and/or transfer of ownership.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.
