Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a genealogy nut, but don't have a lot of time to work on it, unfortunately. I hope that at some time, some of the work I've done will be useful to someone else working on their family history. Every time I add a name I stop to remember what these people have done and what kind of impact they've had on someone's life. I'm grateful I can do this for them. If you have any changes to make to anything I've entered, please e-mail me and let me know.

RE: Alfred J. Cummings
Good catch. I did not enter the birthdate, but looking at the Cemetery Inscriptions of Huron County book, it states,

"CUMMINGS, Alfred J., s/o Afred & Lydia CUMMINGS, d. 7 Aug 1830, aged 3m 7d"

Calculating the birth date based on age and death date gave me 31 Apr 1830. But checking the 1830 calendar for the month of April shows there were not 31 days then, just as there isn't 31 days now. So, the birth date should be 30 Apr 1830. Will update. Thanks again.

Currys in Harvard
Hi,
I hope you can help me! You have a memorial for Edith Ella Curry # 20515280, and a memorial for a David VanGuilder Curry # 20515284, and photos that you posted of both. Now each photo shows just the edge of the grave next to it. I know that Edith Ella Curry is who I was looking for, but I have a husband David D. Curry for her with no dates. Can you confirm if those graves are side by side? Then I will know if your David VanGuilder is the David that belongs to Edith Ella.
Thanks, Sue

RE: Albert Wayne Hansen
You are very welcome. Unlike a lot of the county, we had beautiful weather the last few weeks and I was lucky to get out and enjoy taking the photos.

Westlawn-Hillcrest Vets
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.
