My name is Paulette Tremmel. I am a widow with time on the hands. I have 2 sons and a daughter,1 son-in-law, 4 grandsons.|
I have been doing genealogy since 1976, after the death of my father.
My feeling on cemeteries is, a cemetery is not a place for dead people but a memorical to life.
A picture of a headstone, in my eyes, is the final chapter of the book. That is why I photo headstones. I look for weathered stone in order to save the dates.
When I am in a cemetery filming family stones, I randomly photo other stones

Thank you Paulette for transferring the memorials that I requested. I appreciate all you have done and continue to do to honor those who have gone before us. Thanks again!

The grave marker picture for Mary wife of Isaac Sherrill helped me with my genealogy. Her name was Mary Ann Robinson. Since you found this old cemetery, is there a chance that Isaac Sherrill has a grave marker there also?
Isaac's first wife was Mabel Durham who died in 1812. Hopefully there is a grave marker there for her also. Possibly there are markers so old that they cannot be read.
Another man who lives near Lenoir tried to find this cemetery and he could not find it. Send me email and we can discuss. Thanks for your work.

Hello, I was just wondering if this was a random photo you took? I swear I know this name, but I don't know how she was related, if at all. The fact that she's buried in Milwaukee is a pretty good indication that she is. I'm going to find out who she is. Thank you for taking this photo. I'd also like t know where this cemetery is located if you could help me with that, I've never heard of it. Thanks! -Matt

Hello! I was doing some family tree research, and I came across the grave of a distant cousin of mine-August Zarling. I see that he has a birth date, but the death date only lists a month and day, not a year. I wanted to check and see if that's a typo, or if that's the way it's written on the headstone? Does that mean he died the same year he was born?

Thank you for making the corrections. I have over 200 correction request out there, you are one of the few who respond. It is appreciated. Thank you for your work.

Thankyou Paulette. By the way, I was looking through some of the memorials you posted at Pilgrims Rest and was so pleased to see the Burmeister family listed with photos. You have listed my old boyhood friends family and it brought back some very happy memories.

Hi. I've been trying to find some information on a Wilhemine Quade. I have a Bible from 1861 and her name appears in the front of the Bible. I'm a F. A Grave member as well and I happened to check the name while here today. I notice that the memorial you created with this name list her as buried in a Lutheran Cemetery. The Bible I have is a Lutheran Bible. Could just be coincidence. Are there any other family members by any other names buried near by her. Any info. you may have on her or this family name would be appreciated. Many thanks. douglas. s.
Thank you for all the work you have done for Grandpa Ed and Grandma Gertrude Nierode......it is nice to find it online as I have no written copy from that side of the family.
I want to thank you for the tranfers of Joachim and Ulrika Arndt, the great grandparents of my husband.
