My name is Glenn. I enjoy taking photos of tombstones in the Ozaukee County area. I have been researching my ancestry for the past seven years and I love to find old records. |
Kathy and I volunteer for the Ozaukee County Historical Society. We are in the process of photographing and documenting all the cemeteries in Ozaukee County.
If you have any questions about your Ancestry feel free to contact the Ozaukee County Historical Society at 262-377-4510. They are open every Tuesday from 9AM to 3 PM, the 2nd and 4th Monday night from 5 P.M.to 8 P.M. and the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M.
Recently individuals are submitting transfer requests without the required information.
I would appreciate if anyone requests a transfer,use the EDIT tab. The transfer request must contain the following information: Relationship; Parents, Siblings, Grandparents and Great Grandparents (which does not include Aunts/Uncles/Cousins) and your Find-A-Grave Contributor Number. A transfer cannot be completed without the contributor number. This will assist me in processing your request in a timely fashion.
PLEASE USE THE "EDIT" TAB FOR ANY AND ALL ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS, TRANSFERS, ETC.

|L. Hobbs||Father Mundt|
Hello. TY for your commitment to this site. I am curious to know the birth date on the headstone of Father Mundt. Weeds and shadows are blocking the clarity of the last chisled. Find-a-grave states it is a "9" as in 1859. I am looking for my husband's German-born relative's resting place, who arrived as "Wilhelm" in 1872. I think I have found him here because everything fits EXCEPT that fuzzy "9". Is it possible that the number is a"0"? I have hit the jackpot if the headstone proves to be inscribed "1850", and not 1859. Any info you can provide would be most helpful. Thank you.

|Judy Bridges||st peter vs st. peter|
I've been looking at the St. Peter family members buried in Union Cemetery. The correct last name is St. Peter (with a period). It appears that you added six family members a few years ago without the period and then they were added again with the period, thus two different Find A Grave numbers have been issued. As I look at the records, the St Peter added previously are not linked and only have headstone photos where the St. Peter have links, photos and obts. When you go to the main page, they pull up separately, hence the reason they have been entered twice plus Ezra is only listed on the St. Peter site. Is there a way to correct and merge the entries. I'd like to do more linking and want to make sure that I'm using the right one. Thanks for your help. By the way, are you related to this family? Sarah (Saddie) Wood is a child of my great grandfather with his first wife.

I was wondering if you could transfer memorial #154579204 to me? LeRoy is my grandfather. Thanks.
|Gail Miller||Elmer Totsch|
I just added some photos of Elmer and Laura's tombstone at West Granville Cemetery. I also just submitted some edits to Elmer's memorial.
Laura didn't have a memorial, so I added one.
If you would like me to transfer Laura to you, let me know.
|James Bretzke||Thanks for the transfer|
Thanks for the transfer of my 3X-grandmother; much appreciated!

Many thanks for your trouble in adding data to several Kaehny memorials. Much appreciated.
Glenn and Kathy:
Please be advised that Mary Misch is not buried in the Saint Francis Borgia Catholic Cemetery. Upon her death, her body was donated to the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her cremains were not returned to the family and instead were buried in a common, unmarked grave on university property. Please remove her name from your records.
Kathryn A. Misch Newman
I would love that, Glenn. Thanks again!

Thank you. Yes, please remove it.
I apologize, but I am not a fan of putting obits on FindAGrave memorials or in the photo section of my relatives.
As I mentioned previously, I paraphrase the obit so it is strictly about the deceased. All related names, especially children, are deleted out of respect for their safety and privacy.
I have Jannes' obit, but it is very short and does not contain much more then what is on her memorial page, so I won't request anything to be added in her bio.
I sincerely thank you for your response, your understanding, and your willingness to grant my request.
