I'm very much hooked on genealogy. Now that I'm retired I am willing to help others and fill photo requests for my area. This site has been a great help to me in finding information and photos and it's time for me to help others.
I'm currently photographing cemeteries in Hubbard and Eastern Becker county, Minnesota. During the winter months I have been looking up obituaries to add to memorial pages that appear in the old Park Rapids Enterprise. If you are looking for an obituary you can email me but please make the request during the winter months.
I will add to, change, delete, and Correct any Memorial I've added. I will be happy to Transfer Memorials according to FAG Guidelines but I will consider other transfers on an individual basis. Please State your relationship when asking for a transfer. I will not transfer Bulk name requests.
Please use the EDIT tab and SAC to ask for a transfer or to have me correct or add information and state your relationship to the person when asking for a transfer.
No need to ask permission if you want to use my photos for ancestry and personal use, but I do appreciate credit given to me for taking them.
Please do not take my photos and upload them to another page on Find a Grave. If you need a photo added to a different page just ask and I will add it.
If you want the Photo's for resale, for profit, permission is denied.
I am Researching these surnames: Reeser/Rieser, Dunham, Curphey, Newell, Lantz, Goble, Adams, Sullivan, Lamb, Bentley, Boyer, Chapin, Wangen, Meisenhelder and Ziegler. * * * * * * * * * * ******************************* "The goal at Find A Grave should not be to manage all of your family members. If you have information to add, you should suggest it to the current manager and they should make the changes." ~Jim Tipton, creator of Find A Grave. * * * * * Please don't use chalk, flour, chemicals etc. on markers when taking your grave photos. Overtime these things can all cause damage to a marker.
PLEASE,DO NOT use the message board for sending information or transfer requests. That is not what it is for. I WILL NOT MAKE ANY CORRECTIONS, LINKS OR TRANSFERS FROM MESSAGES LEFT ON THE MESSAGE BOARD. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
In the event of my death or my becoming inactive for a long period of time I would like all my memorial pages passed on to my son DR Wangen #47374156.
DebPar62 Kudos to you. Congratulations. I believe she got our names from the Facebook Forum and stared stalking us, and going down the line looking for those who have anything about photos in their profile section. What is really scary is that she has several of us bookmarked as her friends so she can continue to check our profiles. I have reported her and perhaps you should too. Hey, want a photo? I have lots of 'em. LOL
RE: JosephJasmer-44864726 Joan, let me look through some of old pictures. Mac Stevens, my grandfather lived there for years and my mother Marybelle (Stevens) Courneya was born there. Thanks for all your help and will keep in touch. Clarice Courneya 46550274
JosephJasmer-44864726 Joan, do you have any record at Linnell Cemetery that a James Arthur Jasmer-died February 5, 1992 is buried there? Joseph Jasmer was his father. His wife was Eva Harriet she died December 7, 1962-I don't know if she is buried there too. I am trying to fine tune my Find A Grave burials. I hope you recovered from your knee surgery O.K. Thanks for all your help. Clarice Courneya 46550274 Hayward, California
Mary Smith 1840-1915 Mary Smith, my 2 Great Grandmother's death certificate (died Nov. 30, 1915 and burial date was Dec. 2, 1915) said she was to be buried at Mt. Calvary Becker County. But, for some reason, I don't see her name. Just wondering. Many thanks for all that you do. K. Wakefield
St John's Lutheran Cemetery. I have had surgery on both my knees and cannot walk in cemeteries, because of uneven ground and a scatica nerve problem. Sure hope you can still be able to. I have photos of a cemetery, that has Rademachers and Sperling in it. I have no idea when these were taken. Can you email me, so I can send you copy of the stones. justme @ excel.net. St John's Lutheran does have Sperling in the cemetery, but don't know about Rachmacher. William and Amelia Kief Rademacher lived East of Detroit Lakes, from what I have told.
Daryl Lee Schober Hi, Joan. I see that you have this person in the wrong cemetery. He probably is in the other Ponsford cemetery, where the other Tretbar family members are. He isn't in Mt. Calvary. God bless!
Winter family Hi, Joan. I see that you have taken some photos at Senjen Cemetery. I am William and Wilhelmina/e's great granddaughter, and I have a LOT of family history, including photos, and information on my Mom's Aunts, several who are buried in Senjen (Norton, Nolan, Winter, etc.). I am trying to link the children of Wilhelm and Wilhelmina on Find A Grave. I know that Gustie and Dave Nolan, and Edith and Ed Norton, are buried there, if memory serves me right. Are you planning to take more photos of stones out there in the spring/summer? Do you know if Emma Lyman is buried there? Also, Wilhelm and Wilhelmina/e had 15 children, all total, including several that were buried on the original Winter farm, now called the "Oelfke Cemetery". Do you know exactly where that cemetery is located? Or have you taken any photos of anything there? Thanks! Shirley Rader.
