Adding folks and photographs to Find A Grave is an excellent addition to genealogical research which my husband and I have been doing for 45 years. Our current goal is to enter all the cemeteries of our township in southern Maine which consists of three large public cemeteries and 187 small private ones. These private grave sites can be very challenging as they are found along the country roads, out in the fields and off into the woods. You have to watch for rocks and rugged terrain, wild critters, ticks and, worst of all, poison ivy. But still, it is great fun and hopefully we are finding something invaluable to the descendants and reseachers looking for their families.|

Thank you so much for photographing Henry Wheeler's grave stone. Henry is my first cousin 9x removed.

Thanks Lois! You have done an amazing job documenting and photographing Union Cemetery. I'm volunteering at the Portsmouth Public Library in the special collections room. Using cemetery documentation there, I may be sending some edits/updates your way.
Thank you! June

I was just looking at Jennie's stone, #141193602. I have her birthdate and I can see her stone says 12 Oct 1849. Do you know where you got the other birthdate?

Hi, I've noticed you added a few duplicates to the union cemetery in Portsmouth. One has a lovely picture and the other doesn't. Mary Ann Treadwell Brown is an example. When you have time, would you mind looking though and deleting the duplicate? Thanks so much, June

Dorothy Smith Rand born 21 April 1919 buried at Hillside Cemetery, is actually the granddaughter of Joseph Smith and Emily Shaw Smith. She is Herbert Smith's, (895-1985) daughter.
Thanks for posting the photo of her stone.

Thank you for the photos of Annie Seavey's grave. They are much appreciated! I've sent you an email to explain a possible intersection of our research interests and look forward to hearing from you! You just might be able to help me solve a genealogical problem!
