Find A Grave allows me the opportunity to combine my interest in genealogy and history with my need to get a (very little) bit of exercise. |
I will gladly transfer management of any memorial that is not one of my family members. None of the memorials I've created in the San Antonio area are family members. Please let me know if you would like to assume management of any memorial I have created for your family member or close friend.
The photos I have posted on Find A Grave are intended to help document family histories. You have my permission to reproduce any of my photos for your personal, non-commercial use provided you treat the deceased and their memorials with respect.

Have been thinking of you and hoping that you and yours did not suffer any loss due to the recent hurricane going through. I was praying for all of my Florida friends. You included.

|Debbie||Charles Rohrbach photo|
per Kenneth Rohrbach:
The picture of the tall monument that says Charles Rohrbach is the monument for Charles Jr, who is still living. The correct monument for Charles Sr is the double monument with his wife Eunice on it. Thanks.
Would you please remove the photo he is referring to on memorial #54355401.

Melverda Rohrbach (100355335) is a sister to Paul E Poerner, Jr. (100351886). I thought you might like to link those two together and also link Melverda to her parents. Melverda was my grandmother. Thanks.
Thanks for the info! Our project for the updates and connections is going great! BTW, I forget if I have asked you this before or not. Do you live in or near San Antonio? When done with this project, I will need some photos taken if you would be willing to take them.

|tdh||A question for you|
Hi, Mel. Still working on our relatives at Ruiz-Herrera. I ran across a few memorials that were being maintained by another member whom I know has since passed away. I was wondering if you still can transfer, or should I go through Find A Grave to request?

|Joe Eckols||Lakeview - Winters, Tx|
FYI...I finished my walk of Lakeview today 8/26/16. I will be adding memorials/photos when I return home on Monday.
|Amy Robbins-Tjaden||RE: Kathleen Gilmer Robinson Mackie Lake|
I believe it's only the last surname she had. The other married surname can be noted somewhere in the bio or, in this case, it can be seen on the stone.
|Amy Robbins-Tjaden||Kathleen Gilmer Robinson Mackie Lake|
I will delete my memorial to her since you found a stone of hers to photograph in SBTS Cemetery. The next time I'm wandering around Wake Forest Cemetery, I'll double check around where Isaac Lake is buried to see if there is a stone for her there (and retake those photos I took of his stones).
Because you put both of Kathleen's married names in the one surname box, she didn't come up in a Find A Grave search. So, thanks for the link.
|Alma Smith||Joe Philbeck 104358008|
Mel, thank you for pointing out the duplicate memorial. Even though my memorial was earlier, I have deleted it since the newer memorial is more complete and I have no personal connection to Mr. Philbeck.
