Thank you for following FindAGrave procedures.

Please see FindAGrave Frequently Asked questions for more information:

How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?
First, Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.

Many thanks to everyone who has contributed information and photos for my memorials.

Anna Florence Faulkner Borup
Find A Grave Memorial# 129789505

The new stone came in and I uploaded a photo. For some reason, "Borup" is in smaller letters than the rest of the name, but at least the information is correct! :)

RE: Rodier
Yes, the two reports on the Rodier brothers and the Rodier family in Holy Rood Cemetery are most welcome and bring this period and place to life. My approach to the Rodiers came through the Alexandria brother John P.(Philibert?) Rodier Find A Grave Memorial# 150646949 and his family members in Bethel Cemetery. Many thanks.

RE: William J. Martin
From his obituary in an Eldora newspaper (I assume). He was married to my great aunt and a clipping was found in a family bible. The death date was recorded there. Feel free to use the obituary on his memorial site if you like.

Unknown Newspaper

William J. Martin, native of Hardin County and retired businessman and stock buyer, died at his home here Saturday evening at the age of 89 years. His funeral was held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from the Longenecker mortuary, the Rev. J. R. Moore, pastor of the Congregational church, officiating. Burial was in the Eldora cemetery. Pallbearers were R. R. Bateson, Joe Dedrick, Neil Williams, Harry Marks, Leo Williams and Harry Kerkhuff. Mr. Martin was born March 25, 1859, on a farm east of Eldora. He operated a grocery business in Eldora and for many years was proprietor of a clothing business located where Diamond's grocery store now is. For approximately 40 years he was in the stock buying business in Hardin county and retired only a few years ago. Only survivors are his wife, a sister, Mrs. Ethel Ellsworth, of Eldora, and several nieces and nephews. There are no children.

RE: Olive E. Morris
Olive Everett Ealer born 31 JAN 1858 St Louis, Missouri, USA to Henry Amandus Ealer & Leoline Courtney Couts. Her sister Albertine Leoline Ealer (Houston)King is mentioned in her obituary.

She married Frederick F Parmele 7 Jun 1882, New Orleans, he died in 1888, one son born of this union; Donald Houston Parmele born 31 OCT 1883 New Orleans, also mentioned in the obit.

She married Edward Warren Howe 03 Sep 1888, Geneva, Kane, IL. He died in 1900, Dane, WI; his burial location is not known at this time.

She married John Wesley Morris, 22 Nov 1904, DC, she is his 3rd wife.

John Wesley Morris is my 3rd great uncle. I have a copy of this will and estate papers. When my mother passed in 2000 she agave all her family information, boxes and boxes of it; and it's not in any order or marked. I've been working on family since I retired in 2005. And I'm just now finding his info.

I added the only piece of info that links Olive to Edward Howe; a civil war pension card that has her name as well as John W Morris on it to the memorial. It looks like maybe they moved Olive from Edward pension to John pension. The make reference to John W's Civil War unit of 154 NY Inf..

I hope this helps with whatever info you are looking for. I there is anything more you would like from me, you can email me at

Your Sister in Christ

RE: Jessie Hubertine Schutter Bailey
You're welcome for the obit. I started using the word "funeral" for the search term and have found it superior to the surname or the word "died".

RE Edward M. Spedden
Edward M Spedden, b. 1815, d 1885, is my husband's many great grandfather. Are you also related to Edward M Spedden?

On the Find A Grave page for Edward M Spedden, located at , you said "He was the son of Isaac Smith Hollidge Spedden and Ann Spedden." May I ask you to please share your source for that information? I have been searching for records of the birth and names of parents of Edward M. Spedden on for quite a while. I am so very excited to find this new clue!

By any chance, do you know the ancestry of Isaac Smith Hollidge Spedden?

Frank Nesta ?????
Thank you very much for writing to me about a mysterious "Mrs" Frank Nesta that I supposedly entered into Forest Lawn cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska.
At first, I tried to edit the name to delete the "Mrs" part, and got an error message.
Secondly, I looked where he was born and died, and the bio, and Omaha, Nebraska has nothing to do with any of this.
Thirdly, I have never left a weird message about "pages joining" on some memorial
Fourth, I thought about just deleting this bad memorial--but then I thought, "I wonder if somebody is messing around and hacking FindaGrave?" so I forwarded your message to FindaGrave, requesting their help.
But again, thank you very much for the Edit on Frank Nesta. If you would consider writing FindaGrave as well, I would appreciate it--that way there will be two of us requesting assistance.
Best wishes,
Connie "MrsB"
