Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired engineer after working at GE for 32 years. I was widowed after a 58 year marriage.

Thankfully, I am still very active and healthy at the age of 85. Most of my life I have ridden bicycles. I rode over 78,000 miles between 1980-1990 and I have walked over a million steps (yes, I kept track!) That explains the right hip replacement!

I volunteer two days a week at our local museum photographing items for archiving. I also volunteer two hours a week at our hospice thrift store and, of course, spend endless hours on FAG!

I became interested in Find A Grave when I was working in genealogy with my significant other, Joyce Larsen, and we discovered this site.

When I take photographs, I take a broom, a knife for trimming around the edges and often get down on my knees and sometimes my stomach to get a good photo. I really hate to see photos with mud or leaves and grass on the headstone (especially the military ones!)

I will be happy to transfer a relative to you, or make corrections/additions. Please use the EDIT BUTTON on "Correction Requests" for any changes and on transfers please INCLUDE YOUR ID NUMBER.

Thank you for leaving yellow roses for my mother-in-law. She loved roses and had a number of plants including climbing roses in her yard.

Thank you!
I am Butch's youngest daughter, Michelle. I just wanted to extend a quick thank you for adding Dad's memorial. I appreciate the time and effort it took to add his information. The picture I added is not the best, but it is the only one I have. I hope to get a better picture the next time I am able to travel back home.

Incorrect photo
Hi, Thanks for leaving a photo on my Find A Grave Memorial# 131233152, but another user just pointed out that it is for a different memorial. Would you please remove your photo from this memorial? (Someone else has already posted one on the correct memorial.) Thank you!

RE: Roberta Simmons Photo
You're welcome. I'm not from that area but was visiting relatives in Yakima. Tried for others in Naches but they were snow covered and I had no clue as to where to look.

Memorial# 139226347 Susan Amelia Lanchester
According to my family notes, Susan Amelia Lanchester was the wife of Homer A Van Amburg, Eli Ramsbottom, and Nathaniel Griffin. Her parents were Robert Preston Lanchester and Susan Sophia Lewis. The family notes also say that she died from burns at farm. I do not know where she is buried, but maybe these notes will help. Good luck in your search.

L.C. Rolph
You posted a photo of L.C. Rolph on Find a Grave #46585775...the L.C Rolph born in 1870 is not the Leonard Rolph born to Forrest and his wife, as he was born in 1937. The photo of L.C. Rolph (Leonard C Rolph) parents are Jacob Rolph and Rosina P. Are you related to this line? I'm not directly related but the name Rolph came up on my e-mail saying they are related so I checked it out. When I saw the date mix up I got checking to see if I could fix it. I love a puzzle. Thank you for any help on this problem. Sandy

RE: Rose Haynes 63353697
Hello lloker,

I am not really sure. I assumed (which makes an A$$ out of me) that she was but that the date hadn't been put in (possibly due to funds). I was going to send you something to find out if you knew what her death date was.

I thought since she was listed she was but now I am questioning it. I have been working on this family for a day now and I have not found anything on her, and at the present it makes her 83.

Maybe you should remove her until I can find her death date or death certificate or list on her memorial that she might still be alive. I appreciate all the Still's you have found! They are cousins to my grandmother who was a Still.

Thanks for checking!
