I do this because of the historical contribution and to connect the deceased with their family - living and not living. I take time to submit accurate data. If I have made mistakes, even the smallest, I ask that you notify me right away.|
Pictures I've posted are only for an individual's personal use. If you wish to use them in any way, please include souce information by adding: "Photo Source: Carla James, Findagrave volunteer #47309423." Do NOT use in a "for sale" publication (or website) without my express written permission for each item.
I've been doing genealogy for more than 20 years, and I love research. In fact, I'm employed in the audit/fraud field and am a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Oklahoma is my home and has been my whole life (since 1966). I was born in Lincoln County, attended grade school in Kendrick, high school in Stroud, and college in Stillwater. Several generations of my family lived in Lincoln, Payne, Creek, & Okfuskee counties. My husband and his family lived in Payne, Pawnee, Kay, and Noble counties.
Some of my memorials are my family, and I will keep those. Most of my memorials are no relation to me. If any are your family and you would like a transfer, let me know.
Family names of research: Beck, Murray, Miller, Smith, Pendleton, Whiteley, Winkleman, Marti, Norton, Arbaugh, James, Day, McCurry, Mace, Gurney... to name a few.
Carla (Beck) James

Okay-I think I have it. Some of the information did not actually fit in the categories listed under edit or was fyi in case you had more knowledge than I did. I selected the "suggest any other correction or addition" which is under the edit tab and it goes as email. Sorry, thought I had it right.
Hi-I am not sure which you are referring to. I added numerous plots and some comments, done through the edits on the memorials. Could you please let me know as I did not intend to send anything different. Thank you.

I just wanted to send you a huge thank you for submitting photos of my Grandfather's WWII Coast Guard Memorial (which I was unaware existed) & his & my Grandmother's headstone which I have not seen in 34 years when we traveled to OK for his burial. Their names were Herbert & Grace Walls & seeing those pictures were very touching. Would it be ok to use them on my Ancestry.com family tree? I have intentions to visit their grave some day but not sure when that would be. Again, thank you for taking the time to take & post these!

|Gary Biggs||John Tilford Lamb|
Thank you very much for making the requested changes, and so quickly. I appreciate it. gb
|Gary Biggs||John T. Lamb|
I left a formal name edit request for John T. Lamb #82796431; however, I want to explain why. He was my great grand uncle and his full name was John Tilford Osborn Lamb. Tilford was also the middle name of his father and Osborn was his mother's maiden name. He's the only one of the six Lamb children who bore his mother's family name as a given one. Many thanks for your help. Gary Biggs
