Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Carol and I reside in N.E. Atlanta.

My Dad began this amazing journey in finding our heritage. While on this journey we had discovered so many relatives and friends.

Peternal Lineage ...

Hape ~ Rogers ~ Puderbach ~ Putnam ~ Gibbs ~ Hall ~ Naill ~ Ecker ~ Engel ~ Reifsnider ~ King ~ Robbins ~ Thompson ...

Maternal Lineage ...

Hunt ~ Edwards ~ Harris ~ Brown ~ Clay ~ Simmons ~ Wingate ~ Maddox/Maddux ~ Knott ~ LeSueur ~ Stinson ~ Hopper ~ Bryant ~ Harper ~ Wyatt ~ Tyler ~ Strother ~ Shy/Shi ~ Chastain ~ Hancock ~ Batte ~ Birchett/Burchett ~ Judkins ~ Polk ~ McLarty ~ Eidson ~ Daniell ...

Most of these memorials are based on personal research from my family history (birth, death, marriage, military & other records). Other information was taken from grave markers or obituaries that I've discovered over the years. Cannot guarantee the accuracy of all these memorials, but believe most of them to be correct.

Will be glad to make memorial transfers upon request that is if related. Would very much like to hear from you and should you have any additional information and if there are any corrections to be made, please let me know.

Iver McLarty
Hello! I am on a search for Iver Mclarty's grave as I will be in Southend, Scotland this summer. I have the HUGE McLarty genealogy book that Adelaide McLarty published in the 70's with a photograph of his tombstone and it names a cemetary. However I'm not sure it's really there. Just wondering if you had additional info. Thanks so much!

RE: Elizabeth Floyd (Greene) Stewart
The wife of Raleigh Greene was Elizabeth "Betsy" Floyd. The other one married her cousin, as far as I know and her given name (everywhere that I have seen it is Elizabeth Floyd Greene and she married a Stewart. My father-in-law was named for these two families.... Stewart Floyd Greene

Robert Harrison of Charles City County, Va., husband of Elizabeth Collier
Carol, thank you all for the contributions you've made to findagrave. Do you remember how you arrived at 1771 for the year Robert Harrison, son of Benjamin Harrison IV, died? That sounds right to me based on circumstantial evidence I have, but at Ancestry.com I've seen conflicting accounts about it, and would love to know what your date is based on. I am also curious about the year his wife, Elizabeth Collier, died. I've seen conflicting information on that as well. And, finally, do you happen to know whether Robert Harrison had a middle name? My suspicion is that he did and that his middle name was Carter. But there are conflicting accounts about this too. -- Bill

Find A Grave Memorial# 66461773
Hi Georgia Girl...as to the Strattons. I found books that state three generations were buried on the Stratton Farm, Bermuda Hundred (Henrico) Chesterfield County, Virginia. Only broken stones remain where there once was a graveyard. Could you add this to their memorial pages?
Thanks, Debbie

Thomas Hunt family
Hello Carol. You have done an amazing research job on the Hunts. I am descended from this line also. I have not had the time to digest all of your info, but I have a great deal of info also that was given to me by a cousin. I will be glad to share any and all I have on this line. Thomas Hunt-I was my 6th ggrandfather. I would like to get a supplemental DAR application on this, my maternal line. Btw, I have been told that there is a link to Pocahontas to this line. Have you found that connection? jo.dukes1@gmail.com

Joseph Hollingsworth1679-1748
Hello, Below I have copied & pasted the notes you have for Joseph Hollingsworth. Do you mean that Marys 2nd husband John Renfroe raised Enoch Hollingsworth & Enoch took the name Renfroe as his last (surname)name? If so there are many Renfrow/Rentfrow/Renfroe/etc that believe they are a descendant of Enoch but they have Renfrow DNA. As John Renfroe had 3 wives it has been almost impossible to put the children with the right mother. Could you share with me your documentation or belief the this is true. It could clear up many misconceptions on the Renfrow lines. I am researching my 2 great grandfather James Rentfrow who it is believed was a son of Jacob Renfrow son of the above John Renfroe but with his wife Thomasin Simmons. Thank you for any light you can shed on this for books & trees have been wrong for many years.

Husband of Mary Elizabeth (Perkins) Hollingsworth ~ married 1733, Frederick Co., VA

Mary Elizabeth (Perkins) Hollingsworth m. 2nd., John Renfroe (m. 1st., Tomeson Simons).

Their son, Enoch Hollingsworth was raised by his stepfather, John Enoch and he took on the "surname" Enoch.
