|My husband and I really enjoy traveling. We recently spent five years in the UK and totally loved the experience. While there I began my genealogical research in earnest and was helped by volunteers for both photos and information. I decided to do what I could to help while in England by helping record the graves in a 12th century church's graveyard. My friend and I were mostly working amongst the Victorian era graves which were very elaborate in design and had interesting inscriptions. Upon returning to the US, I jumped on the bandwagon to do my bit like I had asked others to do and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience.|

Hi, Yes, I couldn't find it on Google Maps or Mapquest, and not even on Family Tree Maker 2014. It is way out in the middle of nowhere. Basically, it is somewhat north-east of Bethel, MO, hi also is out in the middle of nowhere. You should get a local map of the County Roads, as it is near the intersection of Co. Road 162 and 159. The roads are sequentially numbered, and therefore logically laid out.Sorry, but I can't be much more help than that, as I live in California. When I visited there back in 2010, I might have had directions to the place.....don't remember now. From one of the more "major" roads, there is a left turn that I remember, and there is a sign pointing to Shiloh Cemetery. I can send you 5 photos I took while driving out there, to help you visually notice it. Need an email address. Sandy

Hi, Thank you for the kind words. I am only sorry that I was not able to fulfill your request with a picture of the headstone. I think it is sad that so many graves go unmarked. As a volunteer, I see this quite often, especially out her on the plains.
Be that as it may, each request deserves time, it is your history that you are in search of.

Sorry the photo is not better. We "mow the rows" and often don't have alot of time to invest on each stone. We know the photos are not always the best when considering the circumstances at the time.
We do not plan to go back there; however, there used to be several photo volunteers who did photo requests in that cemetery.
You could do a photo request and tell the volunteer specifically what you want. If their photo is better, I would be willing to delete mine if we need the photo space. Just remind me at the time the new photo is posted.
