Thank you for adding Anna Jean to her parents memorial. Having all of the family shown on the parents memorial along with bits of their history helps to show the family relation. Again thanks for your help.

Remember me
Jane Barrett
If you have an obit that gives as "died in Bishopville", please provide copy or location of obit so that I can see it. The only obit I could find, gave Bishopville as source of obit but did not say she died in Bishopville.
Thanks Don

RE: Jane Rembert Barrett
The census shows her living in Bishopville Township, not Bishopville proper, probably included Bishopville, but probably also included small areas around such as Wisacky, example only. With this in mind I prefer to limit to what is proven fact without doubt. And to me we have doubt in her location. As for parentage, from what I can see online you are probably right, but do you have any children's d.c. that might show her "maiden name" Thanks Don

RE: Glennville Cemetery
Hi Jenny,

First, the following address is for contacting Find A Grave about correcting the cemetery name:

This is what they state this email address is for:

"Use the cemetery fix/update forum to submit cemetery updates including adding a cemetery bio, GPS, address, town, name corrections, and AKA's.
Be sure to include the web page link in any communication to Find A Grave. Often a reply will not be necessary, as any edit/update requests will be reviewed and completed upon approval."

FYI, there are several other email addresses to contact them at for various other reasons. All these can be found by clicking on 'HELP WITH FIND A GRAVE' in the left-side menu.

I would certainly agree there are a lot of burials unaccounted for. Also, I know for a fact there are now missing headstones which were there in the 1970's, as Christine could not locate them when she photographed the cemetery a few years ago. I had heard there had been some vandalism over the years.... but, I thought the worst problem was overgrowth last I knew. I believe it was Christine who said it looked like there had been a good effort at cutting brush back. However, that was a while back.

You're still a member on the Russell County group at Yahoo aren't you? I have some ideas, but will post on that board in next couple of days.

My Best,
