Very interested in genealogy, rather sifting thought documents or walking and climbing through the cemetery. I find the old and abandoned cemeteries most interesting.

Will help with phot requests and obituary reguests.

Solomon Thomas
Shalina,
Yes, my 2nd great grandfather, Joseph Solomon Fowler, was Solomon Thomas' uncle and namesake. He was born 9 May 1806 in South Carolina (most likely Spartanburg) and died 11 Jan 1887 in Chautauqua Springs, Chautauqua, Kansas.

Did you click on Solomon Thomas' parents links? If you did you would see some history and photos that I posted. Photos were taken by Sarah Berkel, who was kind enough to take them while she was visiting her folks from Indiana.

shalina, thank you so much for this wonderful photo. With your permission I would like to add it to my ancestry.com tree? Strictly for memorial purposes. I'll credit you, of course. Thanks, again.

Thank you
I was able to log back on to the site today and saw that you were able to get a photgraph of my father's gravestone (Dearl Ray Johnson, in the Duncan Municipal Cemetary in Duncan, OK) and I so appreciate it.

Thomas stone find!
Shalina, while I was out taking photos of W.D. Thomas, Jennie Thomas, and Mattie Thomas, I noticed there were quite a few other Thomas stones. What a very large family you have at a beautifully well-kept cemetery! I took the liberty while I was out there in the 104 degreed temperature, took all 21 photos of the other stones. They include Eula Thomas, Hershel Thomas, Una Thomas, Olive Thomas, Clifton Thomas, Anne Thomas, JD Thomas, Sallie and John Thomas, Jackie Thomas, Nancy Thomas, Mazel Thomas, Mary Thomas, Harold Thomas, Jennie Mae Thomas, Amanda Thomas, Dan Frank Thomas, Lawrence Thomas, Roy Thomas, and three beautiful Thomas stones. I do not mind forwarding you these pictures. Just let me know. It was a pleasure taking them for you!
