My husband is so understanding as we do our genealogy, plus stopping at cemeteries to fulfill photo requests for other people. |
I retired in 2007 from Nebraska Educational Telecommunications Commission, Lincoln, Nebraska. My husband retired after 20 years in the U.S. Army and then from Nebraska Corrections.
If you find any mistakes, want additional information or an obituary added, please send the suggestion through the edit tab on the memorial and I will revise &/or add the information. Since many volunteers create memorials that aren't relatives, it makes it much easier if we don't have to go "hunting" for the memorial you are referring to.
If you are wanting a transfer please let me know your relationship; I don't follow the Find A Grave guidelines, but please let me know if it's a relative, close friend, classmate, etc. OR I will not transfer the memorial to you. If it is a relative of either my husbands or mine, I will also not transfer the memorial.
IF YOU REQUEST A TRANSFER, BE SURE YOU ARE COMMITTED TO A LIFETIME OF MAINTAINING THE MEMORIAL. UNFORTUNATELY A FEW OF MY OLDER TRANSFERS ARE MAINTAINED BY CONTRIBUTORS WHO NO LONGER RESPOND.
EDITS SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE THE SOURCE.
A BIG thank you to all of the fellow findagravers that add my suggestions, and, especially, the obits so that many individuals can benefit from them on their search.
Please consider any pictures that I have taken as yours...I am the messenger and believe that they belong to the family.

I want to thank your for your informative memorials. I especially like to see the death certificates as they give creditability to the DOB and DOD. It also helps expand the search when shows the parents and Mothers maiden name.

Thanks for the compliment. I only do so because I have such good patient subjects. Lol.
Peggy - Thank you for the transfers I do appreciate them and the work you have done so that I could find more relatives. Peggy
I am so appreciative of the work that you have done for gravefinders,as I am sure others are. Especially the requests that you fill for others.
I have been getting request from relatives and desendants wanting the posting of death certificates and obits containing living relatives removed from memorials. I have explained that I can not remove anything that I have not posted, and that I have never posted death certificates on my memorials and will not do so. I also told them how to get your ID# and and send a letter to the CEO of Ancestery to register a complaint noting the contributors name and ID# that are posting items in the Photo section that are not of the deceased or gravestone of the deceased along with a photocopy of the memorial.
I am asking you again and for the last time to stop this sort of posting as you and FTC appear to be the most offending contributors of this sort of posting.

You are what the spirit of Find A Grave is all about.
You are a good mentor and friend.
Thanks for transferring the Knigge memorial to me.

Ada is buried in Plainfield, beside her parents, there is no stone or marker. (She really didn't deserve one). It's a long story.
She was in a bad car wreck May 28, 1937 and was paralyzed with a broken back, she lived 5 yrs. bed ridden, I'll leave it go at that.
|Pat Lambert||RE: Jerome Amedeo|
His niece said he is buried in Lake Wood, California and that he is in a drawer.
This is all I know at this time. If I find out more, I will let you know.
