|Have been interested in Warsaw Genealogy for about 30 years. Have walked through the whole Warsaw Cemetery and others as described below. I came to a dead end on my family roots for England (Pattison name) & Ireland (Thompson name)and decided to help others find their missing relatives of Warsaw, New York in Wyoming County. Have added burials, pictures, biography and obituaries for people buried in Warsaw Cemetery, Warsaw Pioneer Cemetery, and Saint Michaels Cemetery(Catholic Cemetery),German Cemetery in Warsaw, NY; and Union Park Cemetery in Wethersfield, NY. Some of the obituaries are quite lengthy, so you should probably still try to obtain the original from the Wyoming County Historian or if in the area the Warsaw Library. If anyone has a picture of a person listed, please feel free to add it or if you would like me to add it email me. Please understand that some names I could not read and also there may be no stones for a person even if you know they are in there. If I've entered someone in your family I would be glad to transfer or add info or delete so you can enter them yourself. I am also interested in anyone who may have knowledge or pictures of any person of the Hanigan (Hannigan) name. |
Maintenance of a cemetery is time consuming and costly. Many Cemeteries in the area are in need financially to continue to provide this necessary maintenance. If you can help them with a donation they truly will be thankful. They do Not receive money from the government for maintenance and are basically at the mercy of you. Please contribute to them.
I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has either added or asked me to add information to these graves. So be sure to check back to this site as information is added all the time. It is Greatly appreciated on any input you may have. Many people have contacted me in appreciation for all that has been done to these memorials and I think anyone who has helped me should know that we all Thank you very much!!

|Sharon Fulton||Irwin Family in Warsaw Cemetery|
Hello! You have created several memorials and provided headstone photos for the Irwin family in Warsaw Cemetery. As this family is related to us, I've submitted several edits and links for your acceptance - hopefully we can get the family all connected again.
I was wondering - would you allow me to attach your photos (with appropriate credit given) to my tree on Ancestry?
Thanks for considering my request! :)
|Peter Bueschen||Moses Purkins|
Thank you for transferring Moses Purkins, one of my 5th Great Grandfathers. I appreciate all of the terrific work that you have done and are doing with FindAGrave. :-)
|E McPherson||Lydia Hawes Martin|
Thank you for the transfer, Sally. I'll try to take good care of this memorial. Her story will be a challenge with her ancestors living on the borders of two colonial states through their birth and then her life possibly mixed with the early California statehood days. Most hopefully, she will pop up in the life of her brother, Horace who erected many family markers. Your caring work is a solid start for which you deserve credit, rather than just being a "Find A Grave numbers collector." Best regards.
Thank you Sally!! I am so happy to have a photo and information on my great grand anunt and uncle. Thank you for your time and consideration. Respectfully, Mary

|Janet Wright Garrett||Lettie Strouse, #18756512|
Hi Sally, just wanted to let you know on Lettie's memorial #18756512, that she was the 'intended' of and not the wife of Albert Purdy so that is not her married name. They drowned together and were buried together (both sad and touching..). I put a news article on Albert's Memorial #18756501 about it if you don't mind and can add it to Lettie's memorial also if you want. Maybe put each of their memorial numbers in each other's bio?
Would you like to transfer # 24313534, # 24313527, and # 24313527 to me, #47830418. Odell and Cora are my children's gggrandparents. Thank you so very much for all your hard work on findagrave.
