I am working on my family's genealogy. I look forward to finding information wherever I can find it. This is a great place to share some of the information that I have and hopefully help others in their research as well. |
Thanks to all of you who have helped me find family member's gravesites or who have taken photos of them for me. That means a lot to me.
My family surnames include -
(maternal) Barram, Booker, Cary, Colclasure, Hardin, Keefe/O'Keefe, Lee, Martin, Motherspaw, Phipps, Sheahan, Stalcop/Stalcup, Towsey, and Wilkinson.
(paternal) Bradford, Copeland/Coplen, Eady, Grismer, Hay, Heard, Henry, Jackson, Karsnia, Meller, Norris, Pope, Schindel, and Varner.
My husband's family surnames include -
(maternal) Cain, Hanna, Leary/O'Leary, Preuster.
(paternal) Boor, Bussard/Buzzard, Cessna, Harclerode/ Harcleroad, Hardman, Kinser, Stiffler, Weicht/Weight, and Wertz.
I love hearing from those that have connections, so please feel free to email me. Also, please understand that not everyone that I put on Findagrave is a relative. I have put a lot of local and surrounding area people on here in the hopes of helping others with their genealogy.
I am currently not photo volunteering, but if you have any questions about photos I have added, don't hesitate to email me or message me.
If you have an addition, family link or correction, please, please, please use the EDIT button. It may be a pain for you to use, but it certainly helps those of us who get several requests a day to add information to memorials. It takes us straight to the memorial without having to search for it, especially when there is just a name given with no memorial number.

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that you have created a duplicate memorial for him. Someone had created one just a couple months before you. Do you mind deleting your memorial? This is a family member and I am trying to link the family together without any duplicates to confuse. Thanks.
Are you looking for birth place for your the Karsina family?

The next time I am over there I plan to hit the requested photos list and see what damage I can do.

I wanted simply to thank you for your cooperation in correcting errors to the Bowles family. Your response was so rapid and you thoroughly "fixed" the mistakes! Thank you! Your work is both admired and deeply appreciated.
Sincerely, C. Sullivan aka hollidaywoman

Infant Long was the son of my grandmother's brother. It's not a direct line, but he is kin.
|Christina Peay||Thank You So Much|
Hi, my name is Nathan (Nay) Peay, and I just wanted to thank you for adding my little brother's burial site here. I have been looking for it for the last 20 years or so, I am 38 now. The name on his headstone was spelled wrong as "Josha", instead of how it should have been spelled, as "Joshua", and even his religious dedication was spelled wrong as well, as "Jehora" instead of "Jehovah" ... so you can see how I could have had such difficulty, even with my parent's help, and it's hard to say which is more offensive, to be honest, the misspelling of his or HIS name. Thanks to you, and my fiance, however, I have been able to uncover this "mystery of negligence" that has been affecting me unduly since i was old enough to really be concerned. I was four years old when he drowned, and he was only 19 months, so my parent's difficulty with the subject is understandable I should think. I say that only to say that it was a small miracle to have found it at such long last, Joshua was something of a miracle in his own right. Once again, I thank you and pray that God bless you for your diligence and kindly, voluntary effort, the extent of which has had a profound effect on many other lives than just mine I am sure. And what's more now it can have a great effect on several more.

In loving memory of my little brother Joshua R. Peay, and in thanks to our extended spiritual family all around the world. "Jehovah Saves..."

You are most welcome. Glad to help. Grave site is in nice section of cemetery and very well maintained.

Thank you for your sympathy. I am still reeling, John was only two years older, and as Army brats, we spent so much time together. As adults we lived in the same town, and when John married, one town apart.
