I can sure do that. I'll give them a call again on Monday and see what I can come up with.

Okay bear with me this is the first time I have done this. Saw the wrong Tankersly (Edward), need to read closer. There is no headstone for George. The city now maintains the cemetery, I will call to see if he is listed as having a headstone. There were a couple of broken stones in the area where his grave was supposed to be located. Possibly, one of these. I will let you know.

I went to Highland Cemetery yesterday to find George and came home to message you of no headstone and found someone else had already been there, so I unclaimed your request. Just wanted you to know.

You are most welcome

He did not have a headstone. The one pictures is the only one in the family plot and it is pretty much illegible. You view a better photo on Charles' page

Thanks so much Tom for taking the time and doing this for me! So appreciated!!!
|Joyce Edgar Phipps||RE: Benham|
This is perfect!!!! This is exactly what I wanted on their pages. Today is the first time I have been able to access findagrave in several days. Don't know what is going on. Even having a hard time accessing ancestry. Thank you so much for changing the photo's. You did a great job. This is the way I take photo's and add them to findagrave. I am a volunteer also and really love doing it. Thank you again.
|Joyce Edgar Phipps||Benham's|
Thank you so much for the photo's you added to the Benham's memorial page and so fast too. I really appreciate the time and effort in which you added them. I have one more request. The next time you go to the cemetery, would you please take a close up of the individual sides of the stone so it will be close enough to read. (just the name and dates) The Benham's are the parents of my aunt who is 83 years old and lives in Illinois now. I would like for her to be able to see her parents names and dates. Again, I really appreciate your time in doing what you do. I am also a volunteer. You did a great job!!!!

Thanks for trying to get a picture. Sad he doesn't have a stone, since he's a WWII vet, enlisting 15 Aug 1942. Guess no one in family knew to apply. Will have to see if maybe I can do so, thought not blood related. Thanks again.
