I have had stroke but I will be back soon. Be patient. With God help I will be strong again.
PLEASE use the edit tab for corrections, additions & etc. Sometimes my email does not alert me to messages left on my bio page. This may speed up the process of additions & etc. Thanks for understanding.
From F-A-G "Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer. Bulk surname requests should not be made."
I have been working on my family trees of the Benton Family, Price Family, Greene Family and Helms Family since 2007. I enjoy researching and helping others with their research. Please note that I will only transfer direct family members per a request thru findagrave guidelines.
If I have posted a memorial with a photo of the marker and you posted the same memorial at an earlier date with burial unknown, don't ask me to delete mine due to being a dup. I feel I made the effort to go to the cemetery to find this burial place and take the photo. You didn't for whatever reason. I do surname searches for dups before I post a memorial at the cemetery I am working on. I will not delete mine if you ask. This has happened to me several times. I have deleted in the past but won't do it anymore.
Please don't post obituary photos on the memorials I post. That is one of findagrave guidelines, (Please do not add photos to Find A Grave that you have acquired from another source. Photos fall under copyright protection laws, even photographs used in obituaries. In general, if you did not take the photo yourself, you should not post it. The only exceptions to this are photos that are old enough to have fallen into the public domain and photos for which you have received written consent from the copyright holder.)
(If there is already a photo of the headstone, a second similar photo should not be added unless the original is of poor quality and the new photo is dramatically better. This leaves room for photos of the deceased within the five-photo limit on unsponsored memorials.)
I appreciate all you findagrave members who send me corrections and suggestions thru findagrave guidelines. It is so helpful when done this way.
PLEASE NOTE: If you contact me by SAC/edit, and expect a reply, you'll need to include an email address.
