I have always taken an interest in family tree histories. My father was an avid fan of Find a Grave and he introduced me to this site before he passed away in 2008. Find A Grave Memorial# 46644773. I am happy to be a photo volunteer for much of the Los Angeles area!|
You can feel free to use creative commons with the photos I take if you'd like to use them in your genealogy or family history projects.
-I have recently acquired many of the memorials for Hollywood Forest Lawn. I am happy to help with transfers and edits, but please be COURTEOUS and thorough if you have an inquiry or concern. I am a volunteer. If you find a memorial that I maintain, unless they are in my Virtual Family Cemetery, then I have no information on them other than their burial location.
I LOVE to find relatives and homes for the memorials I manage, so IF you see a memorial you'd like TRANSFERRED, I'm more then happy to do so, just put in the request via the "EDIT" option. (Will transfer ANY except those in my Family Virtual Cemetery). ***Also, to expedite edits please use the EDIT tab that Find a Grave has recently provided in the upper right hand corner of all memorials. "Suggested corrections" should be used for transfer requests or other edits that are not options under the EDIT tab.***
Please note, when listing random memorials, I often try to link families together to the best of my ability, using my judgment and common sense. So, I imagine some of the relationship links I have created may not be accurate and I'm always happy to update or change if you can help.
Please do not send me requests to change the entry of MAIDEN name for Males whose name origin indicates that they are LATINO. This name is often their mother's maiden name and used for lineage purposes. Maybe a suggestion would be for Find A Grave to add an entry space for this.
My family lines are Schmidt/Wassem and Johnsen/Hale. My husband's family lines are Alves/Carvalho and Bacellar/Huet.

|CasS||Vale of Peace, Lot 4775, Fisher Plot space 4?|
Edward C. Fisher is in Plot 1, son Ralph Edward is in 2 and wife Elizabeth Long Ritchie is in 3. Assume probable family member is in4? Do have that info?
By the way, Elizabeth was called Bessie. Thanks for making the connections, will suggest the parents for Ralph if you don't do them.

Thanks for the headstone photo, that's terrific!

Is this a relative of yours or did you just get the Forest Lawn graves? I'm helping a friend do family research, and this would be an aunt.

Hi! THANK YOU so much for maintaining the info on those buried at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
I have actual pictures I took last week of my grandmother, grandfather, and g-grandmother and g-grandfather. Florence (nee Warner) Regan Benton, James Herbert Regan and Luke Warner and Nellie Warner. Should I send the photos to you for posting on Find-A-Grave?

It was such a surprise to see this grave pic. that belongs to my Great Grand Mother, Amelia Leon-Monge. She raised my mother (until her untimely death). Her daughter died very young (Dalia Monge-Bressler, she's at Evergreen also). My Grandmother Dalia (Amelia's daughter) left a (1 year old, 4 year old and 8 year old behind). It's pretty sad, but it means a lot to have them honored this way. I've always been told what a strong woman my Great Grandmother was. Thank you so very much for honoring her!

Thank you for adding a photo of the name plate for my friend Scott Alcorn's grave. I live out of state and tried to take some pictures last time I was there but none of them came out. Thanks again.
