Please take a minute or two to leave flowers in my virtual cemetery for Vietnam Era Medal of Honor recipients. By my count, 46 recipients are still living. The vast majority of these heroes are joined by over 58,000 other casualties of the Vietnam War on The Wall.

I am a retired USAF E8, having served my country proudly for over 20 years. I was at Lackland AFB, Texas, for basic training (one month); Keesler AFB, Mississippi, for technical training (8 months); spent 3 years (6913 RSM) in Bremerhaven, Germany; 2 years (3750 CSG) in Wichita Falls, Texas, 2 1/2 years (14 CSG) in Vietnam, 8 1/2 years (32 TFS) in The Netherlands, and 3 years (48 CSG) at Lakenheath AB, England.
While serving, I was awarded two Bronze Stars, two Meritorious Service Medals, and two Air Force Commendation Medals as well as five Good Conduct Medals.
I've earned degrees from the Community College of the Air Force (AA)(first graduating class); University of Maryland (BS); George Peabody College for Teachers at Vanderbilt University (MS); and Houston Baptist University (now Houston Christian University)(MBA).
Born in Ashtabula, Ashtabula County, Ohio and raised in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. I have made the Kingwood/Humble area my home the last 40+ years. My wife and I have two children and six grandchildren. We have been married over 50 years.
We both enjoy traveling, having seen most of Europe, China, Russia, Turkey, Egypt and the "new" formally Soviet Bloc countries.
My research interests are Plies, Blouwhoff, van Tol, MacCall, Erb, Grunau, Strange, Forster, Anderson, Duhon, Montes and Obregon.
Each memorial I maintain has been carefully researched. I endeavor to only add factual information to the memorials. I have been known to make a mistake; if you find such an occurrence do not hesitate to contact me via email or public message.
Please do not clutter these memorials with census reports, draft registration cards, or birth and death certificates. I will be more than happy to add documented information to the memorial bio, if appropriate.
Happy hunting and thanks for helping preserve the factual history of our loved ones on Find A Grave.
