Capt Lonnie Ray Hoover Unites States Marine Corps I have been researching my family tree for over 30 years. I have over 50,000 relatives in my Ancestry.com tree. My wife and I have sold our ranch and are now living in an RV. We will be on the road for at least three or four years, I want to visit and photograph all the cemeteries where my relatives are buried. My roots start in Virginia and North Carolina, I am starting there and working my way west. One of my projects was to HONOR my fellow Veterans who are no longer with us, by photographing the over 20,000 memorials in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Ft Gibson, Oklahoma, to date I have taken photos of over 19,000 stones and added most to findagrave, then I went back, added wives and deleted all duplicates. If I am managing one of your relatives, and they are not in my family tree, contact me and I will transfer it to you, no questions ask. I research the family lines of my grandparents, WALSTON, LAWRENCE, WILLIS and HOOVER. | |

 | Ft Gibson Cemetery Lonnie, thank you so much for taking the photos you've posted of the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery. The burials have increased beyond belief there and some of the stones of my family members have been changed to reflect recent deaths and burials of individuals buried in the same grave. Do you know if it's possible to get the memorial pages transferred that came from the VA database, as I'd very much like to link individuals in my husband's family to each other that are buried there.

 | God Bless You! God bless you for your dedication to the remembrance and recording of those who have gone before us. In May, 2013, I went to my parents' graves for the first time since their joint interment at Fort Gibson National Cemetary in October, 2010, and took a number of photos. When I came to findagrave to post them, I see perfect photos of their headstones already here. For 35 years, my parents were avid RVers, and I know they would admire what you are doing. As my mother would say, "You are a true gentleman and a scholar!" And, I thank you, Kind Sir.Added by Karen on May 19, 2013 7:07 PM | | | Lorna Calhoun

 | James Dunn Hufham Thanks you so much for the listing of James Dunn Hufham on Find a Grave. He is my second great grandfather. Is he in your family tree? PS He is buried next to his wife, Marianna Faison Hufham. She was an Episcopalian. JD was a famous Baptist minister in NC. (Dr. of Divinity.) There is a lot out on him if you Google his name.
But anyway, thank you for the listing! Hope to hear from you. Catherine
