Bio Photo Hello my name is Melissa Clayton Key I am married to Michael Key we live in Henry Co, Tn and have 3 boys Andrew, Alex and Aaron, We also a wonderful granddaughter her name is Serenity Rose

I love doing Family Research I have been doing it for 19 years and have ties all over West TN if you need help let me know.

If you have things to add or correct anything, please let me know and I'll do it asap.

Please contact me if I have memorials that you want transferred I will be glad to do if they are directly related to you (PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, and BROTHERS and SISTERS)
PLEASE do not ask for me to transfer whole cemeteries to you, I am happy to add information.

When my memorials are entered first please do not ask me to delete them if you have pictures to add, add them to the one that is already there please.

Please don't DOUBLE memorials in Cemeteries it makes it confusing for some people if I entered them in F.A.G. first I will ask Find A Grave to merge the duplicates, so please ask for help. I work real hard on Find A Grave entering names and pictures. If I make the mistake I will gladly delete mine, The most of the people I do enter are related to me or my husband, Thank You for looking and have fun with your research I know I do.

Because so many people add data to Find A Grave, there are often duplicate cemeteries and duplicate memorials added. This is a very common situation and is quite difficult to resolve in a way that keeps everyone happy. Before adding a memorial, you should search the cemetery to see if a record with that name has already been added. If you find a memorial has been added but has incomplete or incorrect information, instead of creating a duplicate memorial you should use the tools provided to submit corrections, additions or a transfer request via the "Suggest A Correction" link under the 'Edit' tab on the upper right of the memorial. You should never deliberately create a duplicate memorial.

Could you transfer these memorials to me?
They are my grandparents and great grandparents. Thanks so much in advance!

Maplewood is one of my favorite cemeteries. My grandparents lived on Dale Street for many years. When I was a kid I'd walk from my granny's house to the cemetery to visit my family's graves. Lots of memories there!

Thank you so much for the transfers. I do appreciate it. And also from one findagraver to another, thank you for your contributions. I don't know if I would have found David without your help since I am in AZ. Thanks again!!!

Find A Grave Memorial# 37174472
Melissa, I was wondering if you could help me with your Find A Grave Memorial# 37174472. I am trying to confirm the father of John David Shankle B.1870-1873 Find A Grave Memorial# 37285967. 1880 census has listed a J D Shankle: Grandson in the house of W and Anna Shankle along with another grandson, two daughter's, one son J P Shankle Married. I find lots of information to confirm John Peter was the son of Issac Wyatt & Anna Shankle. I can also confirm the daughter's from the 1880 census. J P married Nancy Sneed in 1885 also well documented. so the question is. Was John Peter (JP Shankle) married before Nancy in 1880 with two children ? Thank you for any help.

John T Clayton
I found a death record for John Clayton (film# 1876812) for Tennessee deaths and it lists:
John Clayton born 20 Aug 1864 Father John Clayton and Mother Sallie Hutchens. It says he died 2 Apr 1934 in Henry Co, TN and is buried in Mt Pleasant Cemetery. I am confused. I found where he was in Calloway in 1910 but can't find a KY death for him. The TN listing has him as JM instead of JT but the rest of the information seems to be him. Any ideas? A lot of my family ended up in Calloway.
Thanks for any help, Ina

Jake & Myrtle Mae Green
Thank you so much for adding my aunt and uncle to Find A Grave. I was in that cemetery twice as each were buried. But I could never remember the name of the cemetery nor how to get back there. I am interested in Uncle Jake and often tried to find him in the home with his parents but I had no luck. Aunt Myrtle Mae’s parents were Thomas George “Buster” Williams born Camden, TN 1890 and mother Ethel Lee Hicks born Big Sandy, TN 1895. The siblings were LT “Rusty” Williams, LJ “Jersey” Williams, Harold “Fuller” Williams, Bobby D. Williams, James Wallace “Bud” Williams, George Thomas “Tom Cat” Williams, Franklin Delano “Doodle” Williams, Pauline Williams-Jourdan-Webb, Rose Mary Williams-Rowland-Hood and Betty Jean Williams-Horn. Her father was the grandson of Jack Green from Carroll County TN and I often wondered if Uncle Jake was from the same Green family.

Transfer request-Andrews
Melissa, could you please transfer your Verlie Andrews #34674332 and Ray Andrews, #34674331 to me? In error, I made duplicates, which have my ancestor's extensive information, and discovered it today. I believe I can copy all my information and make links on transfer, then delete duplicate. Thanks for helping me out on this. I tried the edit window, but kept getting "unknown error" message and could not send. The duplicates are Verlie Mae Provow Andrews-#137112281, and Raymond J. Andrews-#137310014.

On another note, I have a memorial #137105268' for my GG Grandmother, Frances Elizabeth "Fannie" Hoofman Johnson, daughter of Jacob Young Hoffman and Frances Elizabeth (Fannie) McCord Hoffman. I noticed you have a detailed family sheet for them on your extensive genealogy site, with her listed as a child, but under generations, there is no family descendant information, for her, with other siblings. I have posted her family information and links to descendants. Please feel free to use picture(s) or copy any information for your personal data sheet of Jacob Young Hoffman descendants. You have a wonderful website with a wealth of information.

Thanking you in advance, I am,
Jo Ann Kelly
