infant gorse 1911
Hello, I was wondering if you knew who the parents were to this baby gorse? I'm researching my Gorse side and was wondering if maybe they belong in my tree as well? Thanks :)

George Ott West Haven
I see that the post I put up on George Ott awhile back has been taken down. At the time I put the post up there were no posts from the old West Haven Cemetery so I with information given me by the township supervisor entered every name in the old cemetery including George and his wife Susan who are buried there.

I live very nearby the cemetery in New Haven Township. George Ott would be my 3rd great-grandfather. George Ott was my great-grandma Blanche(Ott) Brown's grandfather. She was the daughter of Ellis Ott, the son of George Ott and my 2nd Great Grandfather. Ellis and his wife Lydia Ann (Pettit) Ott had seven children: Ella,Silas,John,Bessie,Mabel,Blanch and Pearl. The brick house that Ellis built is about 100 yards east of where George and Susan are buried and my great aunt Pearl lived there at the time of here death. George's home was located just north of that home on the back side of the 40 acre farm that George gave to Ellis. I drive by that house daily as I go to Owosso.

I hope this information is helpful to those doing genealogy.

Esther Tiffany Randall #1002586211
I saw your note of relationship to Esther Tiffany Randall. I am sending you this note to let you know that I edited the site to show her correct married name; Esther Tiffany (Randall) Baldwin. She was my 2nd Great Aunt. Her brother is my 2nd Great Grandfather. I have linked her to the rest of her Randall Family.

Do you know when Albert J. Baldwin died and where he is buried.

Joseph Monroe Deardorff
My late husband Steve Deardorff is a great great grandson of Joseph Monroe. When Joseph and Ellen left the Oakland Oregon area they moved to a Ranch on Deardorff Creek, ( so named after Joseph, it was first called Paps Creek after Pap Deardorff aka Joseph Monroe Deardorff ) This ranch on Deardorff Creek is near Prairie City, Oregon. NOT Roseberg, Oregon.

Henry Brooks
Hello, I am a descendent of Henry Brooks !755-1837). I have been to the Hobson Cemetery where Elizabeth Davis Brooks and son Henry D Brooks are buried. Unfortunately the cemetery has been destroyed by cattle and is now on privately owned land. The DAR and SAR maker so thoughtfully placed for Henry's service is at the main cemetery in Warrensburg and not at Hobson. I sincerely believe that Henry is actually buried at Hobson as he died approximately 50 days after Elizabeth and her burial is noted as the first person buried in the cemetery in the 1918 Johnson Co history book as well as their son's tombstone is there leaning against a tree. Would you please just make some notation that the marker is was physically placed in Warrensburg so that if anyone who actually wants to view it in person will not attempt to go to Hobson? It is possible to go to Hobson but it is located alongside a county owned dirt road that once was part of the stage coach route but no longer maintained. Because it is little more than a field road, it is not easily located or accessible except by 4X4 vehicles. Thank you for all the work and appreciation you have for those that have preceded us. Karen

RE: RE SALEM CEMETERY
Sometime in the next couple of months let me know what you're looking for in Salem Cemetery. Right now we have a heavy snow --a fresh 10 inches last night, and searching would be difficult :)
