I am 45 and a mother of 5. I work full time as a nurse practitioner. Geneaology has been a hobby of mine since 1996. I have researched my former spouse's family (Broyles) and my current spouse's (Williams) family. |
I have helped expand my maternal side (Riesbeck/Meier) that my aunt started over 30 years ago by hand and my father and I are reseraching his parent's families currently (Sellers/Abbott).
Families I am currently searching:
Arkansas: ANGELETTI, BROYLES/BROILES, CREEKMORE, NEWMAN, WOODARD (Germany/Italy)
Ohio: MEIER/MEYER, MILLER, NELSON/NELLESON, RIESBECK/RISBECK/REASBECK, SCHANTZ, STABLER/ABLER, VERFERS/VERFER (Germany)
Oklahoma: ANDERSON, BERRY, BROWN, CAMP, ETHRIDGE/ETHERIDGE, McCURTAIN, TABOR, WATSON, WILLIAMS (England/Scotland/Choctaw/Cherokee)
Pennsylvania: ABBOTT, FLUCK/FLUKE/PFLUG, HECK, IMLER/EMLER, KNISLEY/KNISELEY, LONG, SELLERS/SILLERS, TROUTMAN, WHARTON/WARTON, WHITSEL/WETZEL/WITSEL, ZIMMERMAN (Germany)
I would be glad to send headstone pictures from any location in these counties:
Crawford, Sebastian, Franklin, & Washington
LeFlore & Sequoyah
I have extensive photos of these three cemeteries on file:
Piney(Concord)- Mulberry, Arkansas -Broyles family
Newberry Chapel- Alma, Arkansas - Broyles & Creekmore families
Skullyville (Choctaw cemetery)- Spiro, Oklahoma
I have easy access to Hontubby & Loving (Oklahoma) cemeteries.
I also own a rare library copy of "A History in Headstones" from the late 1960s and early 1970s for Crawford County Arkansas. Many of these cemeteries no longer exist due to two recent water reservoir projects, Lee Creek and Lake Fort Smith expansions in the past 15 years but I can find headstone information in this book. It is a treasure for it gives directions/history of the cemeteries in most cases.

I provided you the nec. input, perhaps you did not receive it. If not, let me know and I will resend. Your work is to good to house errors.

Good after noon. This is my fourth attempt to get an e-mail to you, beginning to think that the e-mail address on your Find A Grave Profile is no longer active, because the previous ones get bounced back from your e-mail provider.
I am Michael Imler Dopson, one of a group of 425 Bone Diggers assembled in the late 1990s that I founded. We have pooled our research on Imler Descendants during that period of time and have
accumulated a file of 230,000 ++ names.
I am also the person that created the Find A Grave on Geo. Michael Imler to whom you have listed as Catharineís father---he is actually her grandfather. Her mother was also a Catharine Imler who had a relationship with Person Unknown resulting in the Subjectís birth. The siblings you have listed as hers are actually her motherís, therefore her Uncles & Aunts. This Catharine Imler does have 1/2 Siblings by her motherís marriage to Daniel Croyle, b. 1764.
I would like to provide you a genealogy report starting with her mother, through her also showing her 1/2 sibs.
I would like you to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org from the e-mail address that you are using, so I can reply back to that
Will also post this on your Find A Grave Web Page.

|Billy Williams||William Rube Williams|
Would you have the complete group picture from which you obtained WB's, Bennie's pictures? Could you post it?
|Holly Heaps Scott||John "Jacob" Fluck|
He is my 3rd Grt Grand Uncle. I see you left memorials on both him and Catharine. Do you know her maiden name?
Also, I have that the year of Jacob's death was 1862 and it looks like that is what the headstone states, but it is listed differently on this site.
Would you please let me know the accurate information.

Would you like to have this family transferred to you?

|Donna Gorda||William Rube Williams|
I would like to thank you for posting the picture of my Grandfather, William Rube Williams headstone, as well as the other pictures. I would just like to point out, you have two errors in your information. His father was not James William Williams, 1869-1940. It was William B. Williams, 1868-1930. He too is buried at Pleasant Grove cemetery, with just the initials, W. B. Williams on his headstone. His wife (W.B.'s) was Emma Luvenia Allen. The other error was William Rube Williams daughter you have as Alender Jean, she was Elender Jean, my Aunt. Thank you again for your contribution.

This is one of those lost cemteries that doesn't show up on the maps. I was pretty lucky to find it. I'm glad I could help. Bill
|Linda Robbins||William Nelson "Billy" Williams|
William Nelson "Billy" Williams was also my 3rd great-grandfather. I left a note on his memorial to thank Opal Littlejohn, my second cousin, twice removed, who began the Find A Grave memorial for her great- grandfather when she was a serious genealogist in Houston and Anderson Counties, Texas in the 1980s and 1990s. She is 95 now and lives in a retirement center in Arlington, Texas. I enjoy visiting with her several times a month about our common ancestors. Are you a genealogist? Do you use ancestry.com?
