|I live in Converse County, Wyoming and have done genealogy work and lookups for people for years. I enjoy helping people find their ancestors!|
I volunteered at the Douglas Library a couple years ago to make copies of all obituaries in Douglas papers from 1885 to the present and put them in notebooks so they are easier to find. At present I have about 10,000 and am still going! If you need an obituary I will try to find it for you.
I have access to the book "Pages from Converse County's Past" which has many stories of Converse County pioneers; and I will be glad to check the index for you.

First, thank you for the time and effort you have put into find a grave. I am the last grand daughter of William E and Verna Mildred Taylor. My dad is Norris Alwin Taylor, The oldest son. I am a Psychotherapist in private practice. All my uncles and dads parents are buried in douglas. It was very heartwarming to know that someone would put this effort in, it shows a great deal of compassion and love of Wyoming history. The flowers you left were very important to me also..thanks betty Verna Jewell Taylor

Hi Betty: I am pretty sure that Harvey is my long lost grandfather. Do you have the actual obituary as it appeared in the newspaper at the time of his death? Does it mention the son back east by name? Does it mention who Harvey was married to when the son was born? Thanks for all that you do for all of us. Have a spectacular day! Karline (Lawrence) Wild

Would you consider transferring the William Anglum 80969436 memorial to me? He is my 3rd great grandfather.

Thank you for the family story on William "Ed" Amspoker. As a child I visited Sam's ranch with my Dad to purchase a ram. Those girls were his right hand...
Thanks for all you have done for Converse county.
Have you found new information on where Ralph and Mary were born and died?
Also, I would appreciate their obits, so I can add them to the memorials.
