If I can remember correctly it was where a lot of the children are buried in the north east part of the cemetery. There are a lot of stones that look like that in that section. It has been over a year since I have been there but I am sure if you stop by the office they can tell you.

Janice: Check out Lucretia's memorial (10742717) and see what someone has done to her headstone as well as to 18 others in the same cemetery.

I apologize for the quality of the photo of his niche. It is 14 rows off the ground, a dark container with shallow engraving, in a dark area. I tried to get a decent photo both with and without a flash, from the side, standing across the corridor, standing on a chair, and the one I posted was the best of the bunch. I will try again another time if you like. Just let me know.

|seekerJay||RE: Regarding Martha Trapp...|
Joseph Frantz & Ruth Trapp are my G4GPs (I think that's the right # of Gs). There were very few Trapps in NYS during the late 1700s-early 1800s, so Martha and Ruth must have been related and I'm just guessing that they are sisters or cousins. These Trapps came through the Thomas of Martha's Vineyard line from England. Most of the other Trapp lines in the US came from Germany. If only I had a genealogical crystal ball!

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. I descend from Ruth Trapp - maybe they're sisters.
All the best, J
