I am in the process of working with Owen Cemetery, (Thomas Township, Saginaw, MI) to record all of the names of the people buried there and photograph all grave sites.|
September 20, 2013.
I just discovered this site and am learning a LOT about my family history.
My family's names are: Knepper, Graham, Pringle, McNicol, Bracey and Uptegrove.
Thanks to this site, I found and 'met' my father's family. No easy task, when his mother died in childbirth after having his youngest brother, and his dad left them. The children were too young to know much about them except that their mother was from Caro, MI. My aunt remembered that their mother's maiden name was the same as her married name...that's how they met. They were introduced by someone else with the same last name.
Thanks to all of you who do this! It meant the world to me to 'find' them. Now I'm on a quest to find out more.....and in the process I want to help others...just like several others have helped me.

One year later...
It's become important to me to provide as much info. as possible for anyone looking for family members, so pardon my edits....but I'm hoping they'll help people find the correct family members, or just add info for those people looking for family connections.

Thank you for the update.
|paulswife||William Reardon marriages|
Seems William was married 3X:
to Edith Bearsdley on 10 Mar 1902 in Saginaw County
to Edna E. Leder on 17 Apr 1919 in Bay County
to Inez Nordbye on 20 Sep 1923 in Genesee County
On each marriage record he claimed he had never been previously married! He must have been quite the Romeo :)
FYI - just recently uploaded photos for some Kneppers in Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Dallas Co., TX.

Hi Janet, Thank you so much for the great photos! You don't need to apologize...think you did a great job! They are readable which is what really counts. Working through glass is hard, especially if you need to use a flash. Did you, by any chance, get the plot info? It's a good idea to add it to the photo citation if it isn't on the memorial or, send an Edit to add it. Regards, Kaye

Thanks so very much for adding the lovely grave photos for Texas and Freedah. They're perfect. The photos show they are truly "not forgotten." The story you added was lovely also. Many thanks! Marlene

Thank you Janet for your e-mail in regards to the transfer of her Find A Grave Memorial to me. I appreciate all you do in letting members be aware of information you have found on their family members. Again I thank you for making me aware of her Find A Grave Memorial Number and the transfer. - Jim Pinkey
Thanks for the information Janet. I found a memorial for Clark Freeman, died in 1951, buried at Salt River Cemetery in Shepherd, MI. I connected him as her spouse. If that's not the right Clark Freeman please let me know and I will delete the link to him.
|Tammy M.||Thank you for the edits on Alice Walton|
I see you are related to the grahams. My great grandparents where Grahams from the Rosebush Gilmore MI area. Any connection? If you are related in any way to Alice Walton I would be happy to transfer her memorial to your care.
