I noticed that you are taking care of the Banta memorials for William, Elva, and their children, of Michigan.
Are you related to them? I have just acquired their family bible and would be more than happy to send any relatives pictures and transcriptions.

The links you requested have been made. Thanks for the information.
Thank you for the Ruble transfers. That was kind of you to take my request to heart and I appreciate you and all your work on Findagrave!

Thanks for finding the file entry which shows that he died in Lansing and not in Pontiac as I had him. I've updated my records with that info and added to bio and also linked his parents to him on Find A Grave.

Any relation to Floyd William Pardo 1920 - 2003. I come from a line of the McKenzie Family in Michigan and one of my family married into the Pardo family in Michigan. So, I was curious.

You asked me to change year of birth to 1833; however, even with that year I have a problem and I think it has to do with the year of death. If he is 19 yr 4 mo 3 days at death and year is 1850, the 1834 is even wrong when you calculate age at death. It works out to be 21 May 1831, not even close to dates on memorial. If you change the year from 1850 to 1853, then it calculates to be 21 May 1834 vice the 15th.
Is there any way, when the snow disappears soon, to go back and see if you can make out 1853 vice the 1850 we think the marker says? I see a 3 in the photo image and would like to have your opinion since I can't be in Michigan to do it myself. Thanks.
Added parents, thank you!

OK, all the memorials have been transferred. I got interested in doing Oak Hill because it is a not-well-kept city cemetery (Pontiac has tons of money problems) and there were about 30 photo requests. I added memorials from a Genealogy Society book and then went to the cemetery and did the photos. Not all graves have markers, but those that have them are photo'd. All burials before 1999 and all with markers since then are now on Find-a-Grave. It was a big job (took almost 2 years) but one that comes with great satisfaction, especially when I can transfer them to their families.
