This is me MANY years ago. (Where has all the time gone?) I love family history and have met many new cousins in my investigations.|
The lines I am doing the most work on are Carpenter, Moorman, Dunlap, Minafore, Frazier, Morman, and Caffey. My lines center in Mississippi and then scatter worldwide.
My Minafore line includes mafia from Cicily that settled in New Orleans.
I have a copy of the newspaper article that had his death on the front page (dated July 1872) and reads that they were glad to be rid of him! The article also included that he had killed at least 15 people and was heard to say that others would die!! Talk about skeletons in my closet....
Ok, that is all for now. Everyone keep up the good work. Weather, a bad hip, and caring for my invalid Father keeps me at home. One day I will be back out there!!!

You are welcome Linda. I happen to be riding down that street, saw the cemetery and of course stopped. I saw your request from the F.A.G. App.
Take care and happy hunting!
|Clarissa Stegeman||My Great Grandfather|
Hi Linda, After 3 years and you helping to find some orphanage records I found my Great Grandfather's Mississippi family! It took a little luck and want to tell you that it makes me sad that it turns out my Great Grandfather was an orphan like my Grandfather. I had an odd feeling about this all along. I met a woman looking for his family too she is his Great Great Granddaughter and a couple of weeks ago emailed me a link to records she found on him being a Ward of the court in Lowndes, Mississippi. You may remember my Grandfather was in an orphanage in New Orleans. Well even if you do not remember thanks for being one of the many people who have helped me out on this journey. My puzzle is now complete and I can go on and write my Family History. Clarissa

You are very welcome
|Tammy Sartin||RE: Lottie Banning|
It should have said Lottie Branning. You had requested a photo of her grave in Kemper County.
|Tammy Sartin||Lottie Banning|
I found her grave marker but was unable to find her husband.
|Victoria Toms||RE: 82242863|
Thanks and no worries I know it wasn't your fault. At the time it happened there really wasn't a need to tell them they were wrong. I had to much going on.
|Victoria Toms||Larry Randle Toms|
He is my father, my daughters last name was wrong. Her last name is Stallings, not Toms.
|Wayne Nelson Parker||RE: John Calvin Johnson|
Good to hear from you again.
I am so sorry but I don't have any pictures other that John Calvin Johnson, I sure wish I did.
My grandmother brother Sam Johnson had a lot of pictures but they were lost when his house burned.
