Turner Williams Cemetery Larry, Did you locate the Turner Williams Cemetery in Amite County on Wall Street Rd? I am trying to visit the cemetery......My 3rd Great Grandfather and Grandmother are buried there and I am having trouble finding someone that knows exactly where it is.
Thank you very much for posting a close-up photo of the lettering and symbols on the gravestone of my gg-gf Thomas Jefferson Powell (1861-1899). His April 14, 1899 Obituary stated that the members of the Knights of Pythias were invited to his funeral, so I figured he must have been a member. Your photo showing the K of P lettering and sword symbol confirms that he was indeed a member.

RE: ownership Yes, I do there are others family members buried at Greenwood. I will ID the grave sites as the pictures become available. I am working with my mother to get the date of birth and deaths for her brothers and sisters. Lydia & Clarence Allen, Sr. there were a total of 17 children; only 3 are still living.
