Retired teacher and guidance counselor, maybe this will help me find "something to do" during my spare time. I have more spare time than spare ribs, I promise.|
I live in DeSoto County Mississippi, with access to North Mississippi.
If you find errors or corrections or additions of any kind, please inform me. Sometimes the pictures don't come out real clear and I transcribe as best as I can. Sometimes I just give up and hope to get back and try again.
If I have management of a memorial that you wish to have, message or email me and I will be glad to transfer management unless it is in my genealogy line. If that rarity happens, we'll discuss each situation.

|Joe Barns||RE: Hadrach Durrett 1845-1846|
Thanks for the response. I appreciate all the work you have done. I am new to Find A Grave but plan to do my part adding pictures from local cemeteries as people request them.

Find A Grave Memorial #104923193
I am strongly suspecting that his real first name is Shadrach as his grandfather was Shadrach Barns Jr. It looks like the picture may have cut off the "S" in his first name. He is buried in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Coffeeville. Do you happen to know if his first name is indeed Shadrach? Shadrach and Shadrick are common names in the Barns tree in the 1800s (along with Shade and Shed).

The headstone pictured in the memorial of Ruth B French #115291079 is that of her husband, William Henry French. Do you know whether she has a headstone that could be photographed and added to her memorial?
|Sherry Morrow||Daughter of George Edward Lalman|
My mother's name was omitted as a child of George Edward Lalman. She was Mary Edith Lalman Watts born in Jun 12, 1914 at Arpelar, Ok. and died on Jan. 13, 1987 in Tulsa, Oklahomma.

|Robert Miller||MARTHA SMITH HER MEMORIAL|
"THANK YOU", and I truly thank you for the transfer of Martha S. Smith her memorial. This is a major blessing.
I have put in a call to The Pine Grove Church and I left a message. I am blessed after all of these years to locate Wiley & Martha their graves. I very well remember as a small child going to WILEY SMITH his funeral and folks came from everywhere. My Parents, Both sets of Grandparents and 1 great grandmother were all at WILEY his funeral.
