Bio and Links
Bio Photo The vast majority of pages I've added to Find-a-Grave are for strangers. I'm always happy to transfer pages to people who know something about these strangers. If you would like for me to transfer a page to you, please let me know (preferably by clicking on "edit" and then "suggest correction" since that will provide both a link to the page and a link to your contributor page with the necessary ID# for the transfer).

I live in Jackson (Hinds County), Mississippi, and love "graving," whether here in central Mississippi or in other places when I'm traveling. If you find errors in my listings, please send me corrections.

A note about photo requests: If you make a request for Lakewood Memorial Park or Lakewood South, please include the section and plot number.

Caffey transfers
Thank you for the transfers. I am so excited to receive them. I have been working on my families genealogy for awhile now and am always grateful for any information I find or am given. Thanks again and good luck to you!

RE: Sophronia Brown
I've contacted Jenny Hill and send her the better picture, which I hope she will use to replace the current one.

Ora Elmer Hart
This gentleman was my grandmother's brother. I have some family photos that I would love to share with anyone who would like them. I have some degree of confidence that they are Ora and his wife Helen. Can you connect me with a family member?

John & Leora Stevens
Thank you for the kind offer but that is not necessary . I appreciate all the work you have done as a volunteer for . My kinship is not from the Stevens side but simply that John and Leora's daughter Lovie married William Dee McCarty whose father Reuben McCarty was the father of my great grandmother Carrie McCarty Priddy on one side of my family and on another side of the family Reuben was the half-brother of my great grandmother Sarah Caroline McCarty Estes . I myself do not create family trees to add to web sites , but I am definitely deep into genealogy and also enjoy being a volunteer for . So with both of those interests I can become quite involved in solving mysteries or just plain exploring family records and spend many happy hours doing just that . I hope as a volunteer for you continue to have much success and gain much satisfaction doing those things knowing you are not only honoring the dead but providing family history and comfort for the living .

RE: Mansells in Camden Cemetery
thanks for all the work you do. The work of volunteers, like yourself, has allowed me to visit graves on line that i have not visited in person.

RE: Mansells in Camden Cemetery
you are most likely correct. I am very new to this site and excited to find this information. Elizabeth Melvin Mansell Carter (daughter of Sally (Sarah) Fugate Mansell and W. D. Mansell) was my grandmother. The ones I mentioned were her brothers, of whom she always spoke so fondly. Thank you for your guidance. Carter
