I am Carol Roberts Greenhaw, Find A Grave Contributor 47602231. My husband is Gregory Thomas Greenhaw. His mother was Odie Eller Higdon Greenhaw. Her mother was George Andrew's third ? wife, Sarah Samantha Bell Vaughn Higdon. George Andrew Higdon and Sarah Samantha Bell Vaughn Higdon had 10 children that left Alabama and came to Tennessee to live shortly after George's death. I've been finding your name several places but your e-mail addresses weren't working. So happy to see all the work you've done to preserve memories of the Higdon family. Thanks for offering to transfer the memorials of family members to me but I am not related to anyone in the cemetery. My hubby went there on a Find A Grave photo request and we try to look for others that might be related to the requested photo so it can help others in their family quest.

In the info posted on the findagrave site, you (or someone) wrote that he had 14 children and 2 wives. Do you know if one of the children was a child named Jane Alexander, who mar. Richard Carvin Livingston? Marriage date was 4 Sept 1830, Morgan Co., AL. All that I have is her name and marriage date; then I found him on the 1850 census with wife named Harriet. I've not been able to find a mar. date for her. I appreciate any help you might have. Thanks.
