|Nancy & Rich Remling||RE: Thanks for Millicent Morgan's tombstone photo!|
My husband noted this one especially when he was doing photos yesterday as he belongs to the same SAR chapter that Carl did although he didn't have a chance to know him personally.
|D.Jacks||RE: John D and Sarah C Garner|
Sarah Caroline Tinnin Garner was my great-great grandmother. Her nickname was Sally Caroline. John Donahoo Garner was her husband, my great-great grandfather. This information came from my grandmother, Minta Garner Aven. Minta's father was Louis Reed Garner, John and Sally's son. John Donahoo lived with Louis Reed and family while Louis Reed was a guard at Parchman Penitentiary. Sam Tinnin Garner, Louis' brother, also lived with them. Incidentally, my grandmother told me that it was pronounced Dona-who, not Dona-hugh. I had made the mistake of saying Dona-hugh and she very quickly corrected me. If I can provide any other information, please let me know.

|Lisa Lampros (Barnes) (Johnson) (McRay). (Davis)||Floyd Barnes Mix up|
I wanted to let you know my Grandfather Floy Barnes died when I was 10 that was in 1977. I was at the funeral so I know this for sure. There is a mixup with a couple of different Floyds. You and I are cousins, so I know we have the same family and this Floyd died in 1977. I took a DNA Test and it shows you as family. Floyd was Married to Mable Barnes. I just wanted to make sure this got cleared up for you, me and other family members. I don't think it is your fault because I have seen trees where they have to his family all messed up.

|David J. Schryver||John & Harriet Parent|
Dorsey ... I have been at the Dexter Cemetery trying to fill your request for John & Harriet Parent. Town Clerk records show John in Section E5 and Harriet in C5. I have scoured both those sections and can not locate either stone. I will try again at a later date because I find it interesting that records show them both in lot 223, yet in different sections. Could you tell me the relationship of these two to each other? I'm wondering if the records are in error and they could be buried together. David J. Schryver
|Anita 💕ღ||Online Obituarys|
I am partially wrong, The Ruth Enlow Library does have a partial listing see link below...
If you just type in the last name all of the Drane obits should come up in the list.
There are six Drane obits in their online database that you will want to get, Maria Lamar is not available yet. They have just started putting them on line in the past couple of months.
Hope this helps with your research!

The Republican is published in Oakland, Maryland. To my knowledge old issues are not available online. It is available on microfilm at the Ruth Enlow Library which is where I found it while researching. I remembered making the memorial and just made some notes on it. If you would like, I could get a copy and send to you the next time I am over there. The obituary states her first name as Mariah not Maria and that no immediate relatives survive. I do research there a couple times a week so it would not be a problem.

Sent an edit for date of death for her memorial. While doing some genealogical research today I stumbled across her obituary. For your reference it was published in the Republican newspaper Thursday, March 26, 1942 Volume #66, No.5.

|Donald Gordon Dalrymple||Harrison-Tinnin Cemetery|
I looked for the cemetery yesterday. I did not find it. Most of that area is pasture land with a barb wire fence. I found a gate I could get in and look around but there was a mean looking bull a hundred yards away looking straight at me so I did not invade his territory. Where did you get the GPS or location directions from?
