Bridgewater-Cox Cemetery Green county
Good morning Joe, I am a descendant of the Bridgewater family in Green/Adair County. I have been wanting to visit this cemetery for a while. I realize it is grown up and untended. I was wondering if you knew who owned the home at that address? My cousin Roy Gupton and his wife once owned the property. Also, where in relation to the house is the cemetery? I tried to locate it on Google earth with no luck. Thank you in advance, have a blessed day!

Thanks for looking for the stone. I added a note that the grave is not marked. - Jeff

I just called Westview Cemetery. I cannot believe the marker has disappeared - the person I talked to said perhaps it was never recorded. I know a marker was there - it was a double headstone for my grandparents. I guess I will have to make a trip to Atlanta to resolve this. Thank you so much for your help. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi! Could you please check the death date on memorial # 145827208? I believe it should be 1918 as she had a child in 1913. Thanks for all you do!

Thank you for the photo. The cemetery had indicated that the grave was unmarked, thus I had forgotten about this request. I assume the daughter is buried there but the name never engraved on the monument. Hans

Hi Joe,

Thank you so much for taking the time to add the photos of the stones you were able to find and for checking with the cemetery office about the unmarked graves.
Your time is very much appreciated!

Joe Stoner, Thank you for providing the tombstone pictures for my Uncle Lucius and Aunt Jane Leverette Cope. I had not seen the WWII marker which is very special! Thank you for your service for find-a-grave. Betty Cope Andrews

Thank you so much for the wonderful photos and verifying they actually do have a stone. When I requested the photos in 2014 it was reported by a volunteer that there were no stones, and they stated they confirmed it with the cemetery office.

Birdie Atkinson Stradley
Joe, thank you for helping me with this gravesite. I am, though, a bit confused by the cemetery office saying "this burial is unmarked." Someone named Phil has also been helping me with this family and has found an empty spot next to Birdie's husband, William C. Stradley. We can guess that Birdie is next to William, but can the office determine that this is her resting place, marked or not?
