Bio Photo I have been tracing my family for more than 30 years and love helping others with their family research. I am willing to transfer ownership to direct family members of any memorials I have transcribed. I hope it helps someone as well as preserves their ancestors gravesites before they are lost to time.

Roland Dorman grave memorial # 88922348
Roland's father was Henry James Dorman. Henry's first wife was Ella M. Moran Dorman( Roland's mother). I have searched numerous cemeteries in Aroostook County where my mother was born(Ashland) and cannot find my grandfather's grave.
When you are searching cemeteries could you check for Henry J. Dorman's grave location? He was remarried and I don't know his second wife's name.
Thanks for anything you can tell me.

RE: Kirkwood

I hang out in the Archival Center in the Newburyport (MA) Public Library.

The photo I added to his grave had info on the back that he was the brother of a local man and contained the info I gave you.

If you have sources, go with them. I don't alway know where these photos came from and there's always room for error.

I'm Bill Hallett of Newburyport, MA. I've written one book on the Civil War and while working on another, I stumbled upon info on one of your graves.

H.C. Kirkwood
Co C
8th MA Inf.

My info states he was born in 1838 in Ireland. He was born Hugh Graham Kirkwood and was married to Anna Elizabeth Forrester Gray.

I am not a relation, but thought you might wish to update your info.
