I grew up in Maine but have lived in California for 25 years now. My vocation is teaching world history to 7th graders. My avocation is family history, especially cemetery hopping during my annual trips back home. I love findagrave but found very little in the database for central Maine. I've been trying to rectify that from my collection and the local newspaper and funeral home. I know how excited I get when I find information here and hope that I can help others find that same thrill.|

I would be willing to accept the transfer of Mercedes. Thanks! I will work with the folks that posted the other children to get the whole family linked. I really do like how you add info from available ancestry data to personalize the memorials. That's wonderful!

Many thanks for the tombstone photo. Any chance her husband's tombstone is next to hers? All I know is that his last name was Martin.

Thank you very much for taking the time and nice photo for Lucius and Fannie. I couldn't believe my eyes -- Lucius being just shy of 107 years old! I very much appreciate your finding their gravesite.
